They "attacked" him because he made a joke out of the suffering of devs lmao at an event that shows how little the gaming industry actually cares about devs
Only thing worse than a short 4 hour campaign is a badly written one. For me the worst of it was The Tunnel mission where Makarov freely walks up, kills someone, and leaves without any issues. The cutscene looked fairly goofy too, just stomps in out of a corner.
True. Also the fact that Ghost and Gaz wasnt watching both Prices and Soaps back while they disarm the bomb is so stupid. If they was watching their backs then Makarov wouldn't of killed Soap in such a dumb , rushed and stupid way.
The thing that I'm the maddest about is that Alex is just... there. Every time a new mission started I was hoping that we could play as him again. But nooo we have to just keep playing as Farah and Captain Price. Don't get me wrong it is great that we got to play as them but I craved to play as Alex again after MW 2019. I hate the fact that he's there to be there.
Farah just existed for woke brownie points. Urzikstan isn't even real and didn't even get made at all during the OG Modern Warfare trilogy. If anything, this trilogy isn't even canon. It's just the developers making a cash grab because it shares the same title name and because they watched too much of the Sicario movies while also wanting it to be like superhero movies, the Fast and Furious franchise, and fortnite.
@@OctolingNinjalaLiterally. Activision pushed sledgehammer off of their game and forced them to make vanguard, then did it AGAIN for mwiii. Sledge hasn’t been able to make their own game and that’s why their games don’t feel… loved??
I have never played any of the modern warfare games, OG or remake!! I've mainly stuck to the black ops versions of COD! But I have heard of Makarov and the no Russian mission for sure. Mainly I'm just here to say man I feel your frustration. It's the same with the RE3 remake. It was rushed and a lot was changed in it and shortened and we fans were pissed about it. A lot of reviewers are criticizing game companies overpricing games at $60-70 only for them to be 3-4 hours long with no replay value, terrible story, bugs and glitches, and not knowing what players want. I'm sure you remember the cyberpunk 2077 disaster. Anyway man keep doing what you're doing and thanks for the content. You're awesome!!
MW3 Makarov and his PMC are clearly inspired by russian PMC Wagner. The codename he uses, "Czar" is a direct reference to its founder Dmitry Utkin who also happened to be inprisoned. Considering PMC Wagner history, IW could have done much more with Makarov and his soldiers.
They couldve continue using AQ soldiers to keep the task force distracted from knowing that it’s the Five Knights group who are planning terror attacks. This part could’ve made Al Assad relevant to the plot. Maybe make him the face the task force. Then the plot twist comes and reveals that the Hadir that died wasn’t the real Hadir. That Al Assad is the real Hadir this whole time. He was brainwashed with the numbers program and became a different person.
@elperrodelautumo7511It would be insane if the Cod 4 Al Assad was a Brainwashed Hadir. It happened to Adler in Warzone Cutscenes and he was a Killing Machine
Really enjoy your lore videos. Suggestion for future lore videos : For GTA 3/Vice City/San Andreas Lore videos, do you prefer the footage from the original ones or the new Definitive Edition? Maybe you could make the poll, I personally prefer the original games.
They need to hire a Russian guy to be responsible for all Russian dialogues, it's just honestly terrible to look at. If English voice-acting is top-notch, the Russian is stuck in 2000's hollywood movies. It doesn't really help. I don't know even if they had one, but they should've right? Why is it not 10/10 yet then like English counterparts.
If Treyarch make a reboot of Black Ops 2, having David "Section" Mason and Raul Menendez back, along with the rest of the cast, including Alex Mason and Woods, I just hope that they don't turn it into a total disaster like Infinite Ward did with MW3 2023, nor make another Halo vibe CoD game like Black Ops 3, Advanced Warfare or Infinity Warfare.
Story suffers from Idiot Pilot, both sides are so stupid and never outplay each other. When one side gets one over the other it’s because the other side did something stupid.
Ghosts isn't even that bad, it's just it's predecessors before it were miles better but it was still a decent one, this game and vanguard though. Yeah no, they're just garbage overall lol
The "No Russian" mission urks me as both a security professional and a gun enthusiast. While they tried to lampshade them smuggling guns on the plane by saying that they used polymer frames and slides and hid the parts in creative ways, realistically that wouldn't work. Airport security are trained to keep their eyes open for not just fully assembled guns, but gun parts and ammunition. It's a stretch but it's possible that the gun parts could slip through the cracks since humans aren't perfect, but what about the ammunition and bomb vest? Civilian ammo is not allowed in the fuselage of any commercial plane. And then the bomb vest. Just how? TSA in the United States gets suspicious if you bring a big lithium ion battery onto a plane, and these guys somehow snuggled a tactical vest with about ten pounds of C4 explosives and a remote detonation timer strapped to it. If Makarov was able to get all that past airport security, then why didn't he just smuggle in some normal firearms? It would have been more believable if the game said that he had contacts within the airport's security team and local law enforcement.
Verdansk stadium mission is the actual no Russian of the game, but you’re playing as the counter terrorists instead of the terrorists, I actually love the stadium mission.
This no Russian mission is stupid in every aspect, this and the fact when they start to execute their attack instead of everyone springing into action some idiot puts a gun to some random civilian and starts standing up and looking around incase of anyone is looking at them (which how did anyone not notice a man standing up with a gun?) And when the guy let's samara take his gun and gets captured, not only going by what you said about how they got all this gear on the plane but how did Makarov himself even get passed airport security like think about it, A war criminal recently broke out of prison killing hundreds of guards in the process, and COINCIDENTALLY there have been a few terrorist attacks 72 hours since his escape and logically this would make him the most wanted man in the world but yet he's able to get pass airport security no problem like how?? Not to mention when they escape from the plane they manage to seemingly open a door on a plane that's assumed to be at an average 30,000 feet in the air which would not be possible, this is something cod knows too because in mile high club in cod4 they use explosives to blow open the doors on the plane but here? Nah they casually open that shit. Basic logic is absent in this game and its really REALLY stupid...
Original Modern Warfare trilogy fanbase: Why did you ruin the great series and great character Activision? Activison: I got caught up in the money, the power....
One of the things I hate about call of duty these days is that they make these soldiers seem like superheroes and marvel characters. That’s why cod WAW Was so cool to me you feel like your playing as a soldier who’s fighting for his life and can die at any moment

@@gunnargunnarsson5963I agree, that was the stupidest thing IW did to Ghost. i mean, before ghost we got COD BO 1 and COD BO 2, where our main character could talk in cutscenes and in-game. this makes the characters feel more alive and allows us to relate more to the feelings and actions that the main character takes. looking at the fact that ghost focuses on family and they make Logan a silent protagonist, it seems like IW really wants ghost to fail.
51:31 The main problem with “Open Combat Mission” is it breaks the lore that you’re supposedly are a ‘Tier 1’ operator yet you scavenge for weapons, armor plates, and pieces of equipment. Does Laswell not have enough funding to prepare these things before the op?
Yeah this is one of the worst way for Activision to celebrate the 20th anniversary birthday for call of duty. The original mw3 is more forgiven and doesn't deserve all the hate.
@@JASNINE-THE-RICHTOFEN-FANGIRL if it was going to be equal tho when you really think about it that could've been a dlc it was going to be dlc too before it was a full production game
Remember when Makarov used to be that Psychotic, blood thirsty, merciless terrorist that brought the world to WW3? That's the Makarov we should of had if not that, an even more sadistic version. In this one he's just a normal COD Villian.
Laswell is such a throw away character. you can replace her position in any mission with Nikolai, yuri, Alex, Farrah, and the story flow would not feel different at all. Her character adds nothing to the storyline

Had to remake my comment because I didn't remember the cutscene correctly, but I'd say it was the heat of the moment (and for the scenario in terms of gameplay) If the devs made it fully realistic then Samara and the other lads would've been sucked out of the plane the second they opened the door... Effectively saving everyone else if the plane landed safely 😅

Old Makarov was cold. He was also capable of wanting to see the world order to burn into ashes and see his own new world order in which Russia rules Eurasia. And the southern country of Draka rules its southern half of the world. It’s why he not only worked with the ultranationalists, created his inner circle, and infiltrated the Soviet Union, but also worked with the burning flag paramilitary group who want revenge on the world for disbanding its former government and superpower status. Makarov’s deep reason for terrorizing the world was because the Soviet Union sold out to the international community. To the deep state cabal and secret society ruling the world behind their governments.
Thank god I bought Like A Dragon Gaiden instead of this which they release at the same time kind of. Heck Gaiden was originally a DLC then turned into a full game and ended up being a better game than MW3.
Whats funny is that COD Cold war did the whole open combat missions first and they did an amazing job with it like in Berlin mission since you can do it fully stealth or you can go in guns blazing and there's also side objectives to do that contribute to the story but are optional but also give you special missions that need you to use your brain to solve a puzzle and then you go after the target. Cold war did the campaign even better
For that reason, I have the smallest amount of hope that the next COD campaign will be decent. Because it’s going to be developed by Treyarch and is supposedly a sequel to Cold War, which I thought was decent. However I’m gonna keep my expectations low.
This is like one of those CoD campaigns you would make up in your head as a kid, not a CoD campaign written by an actual writing team. Activision is not dodging the CHATGPT allegations after this one.
14:33 The BEST MISSION IN THE GAME is Flashpoint aka the stadium mission? That's depressing... 1. The mission takes place in a reused CoD Warzone map 2. The same mission where Makarov so idiotically allows himself to be captured by trying to hit Price with an ambulance but fails miserably by completely missing and crashing, leaving Makarov the only survivor of the crash. MAKAROV COULD'VE DIED IN THAT CRASH, I mean everyone else in that ambulance died 3. The very same mission where Price had all the chance to kill Makarov then and there but didn't take it for no good reason at all. YOU CAUGHT MAKAROV, THE BOSS OF BOSSES OF ALL THE BAD GUYS! YOU GOT HIM! THERE'S ZERO REASON TO KEEP HIM ALIVE. Price has killed his enemies for way less, he would never keep someone like Makarov alive. Price wasn't consistent to his own character that they established throughout the series in this game
I honestly don't get why Makarov was even there in the first place. Okay, the entire stadium attack was supposed to be a distraction to get Task Force 141 away from the airport, where the actual bombing was meant take place. So why the hell was Makarov there? And why didn't he flee the location when 141 started arriving? In the very beginning of the mission where you're arriving to the Stadium, you can actually see Makarov in the ambulance, so he was there, and he was already in his getaway vehicle ready to go. But apparently he sat in that ambulance for 10 minutes, waiting for 141 to get to him, just so he could try to run them over? Doesn't make any sense. Why was he there in the first place? And why didn't he flee the area when he had the chance?
Its ironic how the original MW3 had one of the best ending to any video game story ever imo. I played that game and especially through that story multiple times. Soap's death, Yuri's death, Sandman and Grinch's death all still hit that deep. Its a shame what COD has evolved into.
There was something that you didn't mention Professional In the ending you're supposed to disarm a bomb that would probably explode in a few minutes. But Makarov was still in the blast radius ! Maybe if he wanted to make sure that the enemy doesn't interfere he could've just sent his army to protect it and be safe. Lol it just makes no sense why he was there
I remember back in the day, MW3 2011 got flack for being a DLC to MW2 2009, but it had a lengthy and satisfying campaign with all the stakes, a decent multiplayer, special ops (horde mode), and even co-op!! MW3 2023 is just neutered and has nothing. MW3 2023 is legitimately a DLC.
The whole Shadow Company bit in 2 also feels so tacked on. People knew the betrayal was coming, it just feels like they did the whole murdering a village thing to make it easier for the player to kill them.
Meanwhile, modders are making Price and Soap switch places in Blood Brothers in the original Modern Warfare 3 as a proverbial middle finger to Activision.
I found it so stupid that Farah killed her own brother for using the Russian chemical weapon to protect his own people. But then she goes and works with graves a know terrorist that killed innocent people in las Almas 😂
Speaking of which, where tf is he. I know in 2019 they handed him off to Russia….. but then what??? He isn’t seen or heard from after that. I figured that he’d at least start his own army.
Makarov in the OG series carried out terror attacks like they were morning jogs, nuked 30 thousand US Marines as the world freaking watched, kidnapped the Russian president, and was a hair away from turning Europe into a smoldering wasteland after igniting World War 3. Makarov in the deboot only appears for thirty seconds to give the player and/or his goons some generic monologue, and then arms an easily defused bomb before vanishing again and leaving you to deal with his Shadow Company wannabes after wasting an iconic character like they were some generic NPC.
@@usernamepassword236Doesn't really matter, OG Makarov will always be better than the Ben Shapiro Wannabe 😂😂 OG Makarov was always 6 steps ahead than the main characters in the OG MW.
The OG Makarov from OG MW2 was a well-written villain than discount Makarov from MW3 2023 thanks to the cutscene before No Russian starts where the OG MW2 General Shepherd describing how he "doesn't flinch at torture, human trafficking, or genocide" as if he is a soulless monster who "trades blood for money" and they truly nailed it on how he is a GRAVE THREAT. That's what was missing for me with MW3 2023's Makarov.
Not only is Graves’ war crimes never mentioned, but Colonel Norris’ (the Marine guy from MW2019) designation of the ULF as terrorists and his orders to treat them as such is never mentioned.
Soaps death in MW2023 is the worst death in cod history. In the original, Soaps death had a purpose and consequences. Right before he revealed about Yuris identity. Soaps death had consequences with Price having bad blood against Yuri due to him. Now, in 2023 he died just for the sake of it since they hadn't taken any risks of character deaths in the previous 2 entries with 2019 and 2022.
I know that this is not directly a part of a topic but i wanted to talk about a character more specifcally- Ghost. In my opinion he is a edgykid, idk why people like him so much... He played such a minor role in original MW2 (excluding the betrayal scene, but Roach was also included there) but in Reboot he go hyped to the point in where he became more "important" than Soap. Also i noticed that Ghost from a reboot received some "characteristics" of a Soap from original mw
I wish Roach and Lt Vasquez and Paul Jackson( He can have his Character be Fleshed out and Given Lines) and Heck Make Carver who was Cod 4 Usmc Demo Character a Actual Character( He could have Replaced Jackson post his Cod 4 Death had they had added more Usmc Missions)were in the Later Mw games since they are Alive in this Universe.
Money, they put so little effort into these games because kids love all the dumb shit multiplayer offers and that’s where they get there big money. Makarov blew his cover because he was spamming him with messages 😂😂 these games are made for under 16s
Shepherds death in the original Modern Warfare 2 was better because he put up a good fight against Price and Soap and almost killed them both by himself until Soap killed shepherd by giving him back his knife.
@@usernamepassword236 Nah bruh, how about you? You played Vanguard or Ghost? No no you see the cartel plot line being dropped is even dumber when you realize that Valeria and the Las Almas Cartel were the ones that smuggled the gas for Konni graves literally says as much during the shadow company missions in DMZ season 5
MW3 Campaign's version of 2023 was very bad and it's like Canon RWBY and Gen Lock Season 2's Bad Storyline Plots were combined together to create this abomination
Your reaction during that Sequence where Makarov's men were shooting the Civilians in the Stadium and your frustration with not getting a shot is exactly whats needed in these missions. It forces the Player to actually think Tactically, think about the Civilian collateral damage and be more precise with your shooting rather than just go full auto.
Also the original design for Makarov was perfect, he looked like a sinister slimey person. This Reboot Makarov looks like Ben Shapiro and I can't take.him seriously.
I really wanna go back to the original Modern warfare storyline. Not that I want more games in that setting but there was something cool about imagining all the COD games existing in the same world and I don’t want to imagine the new time being canon over the original. I like imagining that all the world war 2 games are the same story, ending with vanguard where they find documents regarding Nova 6 gas which finds its way back to their home countries leading into black ops 1 where Reznov is tasked with securing it for the Russians right after the war. I assume that Nova 6 is the same gas Makarov uses in MW3 in Europe. Also the Cold War KGB mission would also imply black ops is canon to modern warfare. Captain price’s lineage fought in WW2 and was tasked with killing Alex Mason after he assassinates JFK. In infinite warfare there’s models of the Odin station from ghosts and a battleship named in honor of TF141 from the original Modern Warfare games. The tech in Advanced warfare seems to be a prototype stage of alot of the tech in BO3 and Infinite warfare, going from bulkier exosuits to simpler and smaller jump packs and full on jet packs. All these signs and more always told me that all the games are connected, but new MW has a far worse story than the original and makes a lot of previous entries no longer canon.
Its crazy how bad this story is and its a pity that i actually really loved the two last mw games especially mw2 the recent one and how much it has nostalgia and gave fans what they loved but NOPE noooo they just threw it all away the amazing story and build into mw3 which was soo bad since im also a guy that likes story and characters man oh man they fucked it up soo bad 4 hrs of campaign wow I still cant believe how much they ignored what happend to other characters and how soap death was handled that was sooo bad. Like bro graves didnt you just get blowned up in the tank? and like didnt you also massacre a whole village just to find soap and ghost? And the main characters just teams up with him like The stuff that happend in mw2 2023 didnt fucking happend 😒🥴🙄 Im too lazy to write on what they even did with makarov just bad. And sheperd also 💀🗿 ill just say the old makarov and old sheperd were miles better 😒 and had better character writing deaths and scary factor and how messed up they are Oh yea also forgot they still used the whole OH MISSILES SHIT SHIT plot on this game even tho that was in mw2 and this was supposed to be makarovs game jeez.
That's a good point; she could've completely foiled their plan by just throwing herself out the airlock and sacrificed herself. This is why Makarov in OG MW2 just shot up an airport; forcing a veteran who's anti-Russian occupation wouldn't just submit to such amateur terrorism is a stupid idea (hence why Makarov shot Yuri and left him for dead). "Timing is everything" my arse! The reboot's Makarov is a complete donkey in comparison to the original; he couldn't even get No Russian right, as she knew he was Russian.
@@thecircleoft.e.d2121by that logic old Makarov couldn't get No Russian right either since Joseph knew he was Russian you literally don't know what you're talking about
They erased my teenage years by "remaking" our experiences dishonestly. Kids, this is not the Modern Warfare that got CoD to where it is now. This is what happens when a company has so much money and power they can phone it in and the change happened within 10 years. If companies could sell you nothing and still charge you for it, they would. I'm sure most of the man hours making the game were spend on reddit, Twitter and Instagram. I don't think games are made by gamers anymore, they're made by marketers
Instead of a reboot of the Modern Warfare trilogy, why didn't they just make a Modern Warfare 4? New characters, new story, new everything, set in the modern day, while letting Markov and his plot rest in the 2010s?
My gta verse fan fiction has elements of video game, tv and movie franchises that merge into one game universe. Which has gta games being in one universe instead of so many. Even the modern warfare series is part of it. The new modern warfare game would be continuing from after the original modern warfare 3. Where the world is stable somewhat. With newer technology and society being more unequal. More so than ever before and the new task force must deal with terrorists who would endanger world security and they mustn’t align with some military alliance. It does have new characters and new story. Maybe use some familiar settings from previous games.
Orignal Makarov was a cold heartless demon capable of starting world war 3 killing thousands of people, remake Makarov is a dumb fanboy with the personality of a teenage troll trying to cosplay and re-enact the real Makarov and failing at it. Yet somehow still getting the better of these John Wick superhuman "operators" that are able to take out entire bases single-handedly with no backup.
They could’ve made him a new antagonist. Who happens to work with a former Inner Circle member. And who happens to work with Raul Menendez. See the connection with the black ops series.
A priority of appearing diversifying rather than actual gameplay development and seeing the storyline and lore of the rebooted modern warfare series. Which would be considered part of the black ops universe because of how Verdansk and this Zakhaev character connects both game series there. As well as Vanguard being part of a greater cod universe itself
This game’s version of Makarov reminds me more of a Russian Ben Sharpio (and it’s not just from looks), then an actually, evil, cunning villain who could single-handedly take down Task Force 141.
What if i say that i hypothetically take down Task force 141 single handedly Yes this is the mocking of how he talks, old sure but this seems gold enough
I think I might have to play the original Modern Warfare trilogy one day. Not just replay MW1, but play all of it. The reveal that Makarov was behind that scene in the first game sold me on the whole original trilogy
27:46, what makes this even funnier is that when Graves is revealed to still be alive in the MW22 Warzone Season 5 cutscene, Alex and Farah are aware that Graves had "died" in a tank in Mexico, yet are unaware of his betrayal and war crimes. It's no surprise the game flopped as bad as it did when important plot points are completely forgotten.
Vanguard's plot was barely better, but at least MWIII has good characters. Literally everyone in Vanguard was completely insufferable, it's like a bunch of theater kids wrote themselves into World War 2 after doing 20 minutes of research.
Plus in Vanguard, you are mostly stuck in prison throughout the entire campaign, only playing each member's backstories on why they are handpicked. At least with MWIII it moved the story forward and not keep it in place. Controversially, I kinda like MWIII's campaign
They really dropped the ball the moment they canonized Warzone into the campaigns of the Reboot saga, and now that MWZ is canon it just makes everything much more confusing and downright stupid.
This entire Modern Warfare universe started off in the best way possible. Bringing old characters that we love but also introducing some new, awesome characters. It actually showed us some real MODERN day problems. Modern Warfare 2 wasnt the best campaign, but it wasn’t bad either. They did the same thing with introducing new characters but ALSO giving us a new version of these old character like Soap and Ghost and executed their relationship perfectly. Modern Warfare 3 completely squashed all our characters. I MEAN ALL OF THEM. Makarov isn’t as impactful as he was in the past, Alex should NOT be alive, I don’t care what you think about his character, HE SHOULD BE DEAD. Same goes for Graves. Soap dies in the stupidest way possible and the way Price and Gaz react to it is just HORRIBLE. Wtf happened to Griggs and the rangers? Alejandro and Rodolfo??? THEY WERENT EVEN MENTIONED. It’s such a shitty downfall to a once loved story
Also they could’ve made the campaign into two stories like the getaway game did with Frank Carter, London cop and Marcus Hammond, ex robber criminal, forced to be a criminal getaway driver. Something on that level of storytelling. Maybe something like getting perspectives of task force 141 or Konni. You get deep lores from both sides. They could even tied this to the black ops games as Raul Menendez’s Cordis die movement is already rising and the working class members are on the verge of causing anarchy. Maybe that would been preferable.
It’s not call of duty modern warfare 3 it’s call of duty Makarov plans for the missiles or III like saying eye eye eye because there is already modern warfare 3
I'm glad I didn't ask my mom to get this game I played the og modern warfare games and this Makarov sounds like a dumb killer not like the smart ruthless Makarov who was a physical threat as much as he was smart
I think the reason why the campaign is so short is because of Bobby Cockdick as im pretty sure he had a hand in its development and wanted it to make as much money as possible through microtransactions and other things and Bobby Cockdick dosen't care about making a good game that that fans like all Bobby Cockdick cares about is lining his own pockets and screwing over the developers by doing a mass layoff so that he Bobby Cockdick can get a larger paycheck I hope for COD fans sake that Activision under Microsoft treats their beloved franchise with the care it deserves and maybe the next game will be a success and they can restore COD fans faith and the dev's can make the franchise better then ever
Wait so the Yuri at the military base was supposed to be the reboot's version of Yuri from the original trilogy? I thought they were different people. Also, Farah and the Uzikstanis are using the missiles as a deterrent against further Russian provocations (i.e. peace through strength); something that she talks about in the cutscene at the port.
Same, I was pretty excited to get this game when it released. I think the biggest sin of all is the fact that the game used the old campaign style for the first mission. So I was excited at that point. But for them to add my most hated type of game into the campaign it made me personally want to ask the developers why they thought that was a good idea I’ll just patiently wait for the new “CoD” & “battlefield” style game but I’d happily not get my hopes up anymore for those franchises. I had to laugh at myself because I tried to play on veteran but that cargo mission is the biggest waste of time when you have to plant the trackers. Simply because the enemy will spawn endlessly. So I put my pride to the side and put it on recruit and became a bullet sponge against non lethal targets. The Reactor mission comes up & it’s giving me the OG CoD mission start offs. And what did they decide to do? Another war zone mission🤣unbelievable
32:45 bro its literally mexico, these things happen there so often (with guns taken from the US), to the point where im seriously doubting anyone in-universe even noticed, since, again, mexico is kinda famous for cartel violence
My biggest problem with this new take of a No Russian mission in this game is how there's quite literally no consequences. In the original MW2,No Russian is the event that not only established how much of a ruthless maniac Makarov is,but also the ignition of everything that happned in the subsequent two games. It wasn't just a mission made purely for shock value,it was also the establishment of everything, the numerous character deaths, the death of millions, and the start of WW3,all lead back to No Russian. But in MW2023's iteration,it felt excatly what I mentioned above, made purely for shock value,to fullfil the quota of having a No Russian type mission in the reboot, with dialogue so on the nose it borders on cringe inducing, borderline stupidity on Makarov's planning of the attack and Samara's actions, and worst of all,the reason why it even happened in the first place is immediately resolved in the next mission and the attack was never brought up again.
This story is trash i bought the game for zombies usually i buy it for story but not this time i have never even went on the and cuz of sonys stupid policies i cant get a refund cuz i think its been over 2 weeks n i downloaded it already should have bought it physical point being this is the worst cod story in existence maybe fps story ever
If you wanna buy a cod for zombie you should only buy one made by treyarch waw, bo1, bo2, bo3, bo4 and cold war except vanguard couse the zombie made by infinite ward and sledgehammer are just a worst ripoff
I still think that if they wanted to use Graves again, they should've used him as the initial antagonist who is unknowingly working for Shepherd and Makarov. Then, after he escapes 141's grasp again, he gets betrayed by Shepherd in a mission similar to Loose Ends. Then, maybe have the new leader of Shadow Company form an uneasy alliance with 141 to get revenge against Shepherd and Makarov in a gun battle similar to the Boneyard fight. I wanted to expand on this too, so this comment is going to be much longer. Another idea with Shadow Company is that after my version of Graves' death, maybe Shadow Company splits into two groups. One that sides with 141 and one that sides with Shepherd. Eventually, due to heavy fighting, 141, Konni and both SC factions have taken heavy casualties. This fight knocks out Shadow Company as Shepherd's rogue faction is all killed off and Konni wipes out the remnants of the loyal Shadow faction. 141 makes a daring escape thanks to Nikolai coming with a chopper and maybe some of Kamarov's men as last minute back up. Then, later on, we get one last scene with Makarov as he plans his next move while introducing Yuri as a double agent. Then, the final scene could be Price and Laswell recruiting more army personnel and soldiers into 141. Here, we would see the return of characters like Kamarov, Griggs, Alejandro, Rodolfo, Sandman, Roach and maybe David Mason (this is only because the Black Ops timeline is canon to the MW reboot timeline). Here, we see that Makarov and Al-Qatala are in fact working with or for Raul Menendez and Cortis Die. I don't like that Black Ops is canon to the reboot MW trilogy but at the same time, Zahkaev appears in Cold War and Price's grandfather is also mentioned in some files. There's need to at least be some sort of crossover and thus, this is my idea. This is my version of MW3. Graves appears as the initial antagonist until it's revealed that Makarov, Shepherd and Al-Qatala are all coalescing together with Raul Menendez really being the one pulling the strings. Menendez uses Makarov's and Al-Asad's men to begin Cortis Die's plan in 2025.
When even COD Vanguard has a better campaign than you know it's really awful. At least COD Vanguard didn't reuse multiplayer maps for its campaign and as Nano said had structure of some kind.
