A Good Day on the Ranch 

"Every day on the ranch is a good day".....words to live by. Thank you Mike and Erin and your family for allowing us to come along.

Oh no! Little G was such a fighter. I’m so sorry for your loss. You guys did everything you could for the little guy!

Mike you are an amazing person how you care so much for your animals. We all knew how much Goilath had a special place in your heart. I hope one day I will get the opportunity to stay on your farm and shake your hand.

Everyday is a good day. That's my new slogan. While each day throws in it's hurdles, just getting past them is a success. I know the heartfelt work that your entire family has done to keep Goliath happy and healthy from day one. Your positive attitude towards that success is intoxicating. Im honored to have witnessed this. Thank you for keeping it real. Give the kids an extra hug for their part in rewarding Goliath the best short months on the ranch.

No day on a ranch goes as planned and always a tough day when you lose one. I think too many people don't realize how much effort and love goes into our cattle or how much grief we feel when one dies. I hope it never gets easy

I think one of the treasures of growing up on a farm/ranch is seeing how life begins and ends. It is not always pretty but it is how life goes. Thank you for your outlook on ranch life and say hi to Erin and the girls.

Mike, you explained your day so eloquently. You accomplished so much yesterday for such a sad beginning. Love the girl's hair cuts. You and Erin’s life on the ranch blows my mine. Your family so loved and the friendships that you all have is a testament to extraordinary individuals that you all are. Goliath was a true giant. RIP sweet calf.

You're one of the greatest successes I have ever met. I will do so again, very, very soon. Can't wait.

So very sad to hear about Goliath passing. He was very well loved and cared for there. I'm glad I got a chance to see him while he was around. I think I saw Jeff Lake yesterday when I came to the farm store. I'd also like to wish Erin a very happy birthday today!

I am so sorry you lost Goliath, he was a good calf that had a rough start. You gave him a good life while he was here with us.

We will all miss Goliath. Thank you for allowing us to sharing in his daily life while he was here. He made as lot of us smile an reminded us of similar experiences with a calf born with problems.

Before even watching the end of the video I could hear the sadness in your voice, talking about the small success of the day before telling us what happened. My grandma made me do that once also when we lost a calf, no matter how hard we tried to get it to survive God had other plans for. Sorry for your loss I know it hurts, but we and the rest of our furry friends get live to see another day, greetings from Texas.

Oh Mike, I'm so sorry to hear of Goliath's passing. Slipping away in one's sleep while hard is the easier thing to happen. My heart goes out to you guys, I know how hard you worked to give him the best life every....and he had that.

I lost an 18 year old cat and a 12 year old (136lb) yellow lab in the last 2 years so i know the feeling of loss. They are in a better place. Sorry to hear about your loss.

Hey Mike, I'm so sorry to hear that Goliath passed away whether it's livestock or pets when an animal dies it just hurts your soul down to the core. Goliath came into this world the hard way but you helped him mommy Mike make sure that Goliath had his bottles. When Goliath had a problem with bloat Dr. Mike stepped in to make sure that Goliath got what he needed to help him with bloat. He fought the good fight and couldn't fight anymore the mother nature stepped in and decided to take over this one. You done the best you could Mike you gave him a good home and made him feel loved what more can a calf ask for thank you Mike.🐂 😔😢🙏

I clicked on your video to see Goliath because it had been so long and I missed him. I'm devastated 💔. I loved that boy. I really did. I wanted to offer to pay to take care of him to make him your mascot. Now you tell me he's gone. I'm devastated 💔. Oh Goliath. He was so much bigger than Peanut when they both were born but he did not seem to thrive and grow as well as Peanut did. You all gave it your best to bring him along in life. We win some and we lose some. Those that we lose we remember and mourn them. Those that we win we treasure them and are thankful for them

Well Mike it sad but at least he had the best while he was alive. Mike you put out some of the best videos and show real life goes on too. At the end of my life I fight with the cancer and wish I could go back to the ranch but they tell me I can't now. So Mike I look for you all I can in my day too alone with some of your friends like Rodeo Reed too. Hi again MIKE A new day each morning to be oh so thankful for. But some are tougher then others especially on a ranch that is full of surprises good or not so good. Things can go south in a split second a blink of an eye. And sometimes in the quiet of the night like with Goliath a good bye happens for us to discover in the early morn. The sadness of loss with the memory of a life with a tough beginning yet a full one well cared for with love. Good byes are never easy especially for young kiddos that must learn of such things as part of ranch life and life in general. Always the hardest part is the missing but the very best part too knowing how a life had crossed yours and touched your heart. So Goliath's little calf print is left behind there along with memories of those really good days on the ranch. Always doing the best you can you did Mike and Erin and kiddos too. Sending hugs from afar with hope for way more good days ahead. Onward you go...

You do great Mike, don't let anything get you down.

Drought makes everything more difficult. The ranches I grew up around in southern AZ are drier than ever. I now live an hour north and I've had less than 1 inch of rain at the tail end of our rainy season. No one can remember a hotter or drier summer monsoon and winter rain didn't happen either

Sorry about you loosing Goliath! I know how that hurts. We lost a goat a few weeks ago.. it still hurts. She was 1 of a set of triplets. At least you have lots of video of him. He lived a good life. Love the girl's new hair cuts! They are growing up so fast!

Life sure has it's up and downs, but each day is a blessing of it's own. Goliath conquered many of his struggles which in it's own way is amazing.

I hope and pray y’all will keep having great success with the rest of your cows. I might be almost wanting to go back to living on the farm. I grew up on a farm but couldn’t stand it. Now I don’t know.

What I love about this show is your never afraid to show the bad times as well as the good times. Your absolutely right every day is a blessing regardless how it turns out because there is always a lesson to be learned. Keep it coming.🤗
