Thanks, Phil during my recent house move I managed to lose the other crane operator so I’m gonna have to dig around and find a replacement for him. Now it’s going to have to be a muscle tearing one man job.😀
Thanks very much for posting another great video Pete!! I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of your dioramas and the train layout!! The 110 looks like a beauty. Very nice! I am always inspired by your enthusiasm and passion for the hobby Pete!! Cheers! (Nice camera work by your lad! Really adds to the enjoyment!!) Thanks again guys! 👍👍
Thank you very much for your kind comment and I’m glad that you enjoyed the video. I think watching other peoples work is inspiring and I’m pleased to know that you find watching mine to be that way for you . Coming up to video number 100 so I’ll have to think of something special for that.
Great video Pete…As regards Swastikas for aircraft I purchased from Aeromaster decals several sheets of swastikas for Luftwaffe aircraft, all sizes and both 1/72 and 1/48…Don’t know if they are still available but they are like gold dust to me…All my Luftwaffe aircraft have appropriate/correct markings.
Thanks, John. I do have a sheet of decals that were readily available from Hannants next to the RAF Museum. I know it’s a very sensitive issue and I have no wish at all to offend anybody but I just want my models to be accurate and not have any obvious gap where the insignia should be .
@@petesplasticplayground7791see I don’t understand it was part of History and if people get upset at that they have more serious issues but saying that I’m ex Parachute Infantry and as blunt as a sledgehammer 😂😂😂
Fantastic diorama's Pete! I love how you make the models come alive, and your imagination is inspirational! Your figures are brilliant too and breathe life into the scenes. Your passion and joy for modelling is a truly wonderful thing to behold and its always a pleasure to see your video's and builds. Thanks to your lad too for the awesome video work! I love a 110 too (have 3 in the stash!) Nearly bought this one today but refrained as need to keep the bank manager happy! Thanks for posting Pete. Take care and will look forward to seeing more updates. Happy modelling mate. Bobby
Hi Bobby, thanks for watching the video and leaving such a nice comment and yes, Joe is doing very well with the camera. I compliment you on your restraint in the model shop or on the website as the case may be in my case. I was fortunate that my son gave me this kit as a gift for Father’s Day so zero outlay from me. Thanks for the compliment on the figures. I have to say that painting them is probably one of my favourite aspects of the hobby irrespective of the outcome.
@@petesplasticplayground7791 you're very welcome Pete 🙏 My restraint is a little late I'm afraid as due to a distinct lack of mojo lately and 4 or 5 builds on the go (not even sure if its 6!) I've taken to buying a few vintage kits to remind me of my youth and my late father who got me into modelling. Along with watching guys like you on here, and buying kits to add to the stash I get as much pleasure as I do building models. As you have said on your Video's, we modellers are an easy bunch to buy for! It's always nice though to receive a kit unexpectedly! As for the figures , I wish I loved doing them too! I think once I start them I do enjoy painting them but I talk myself out of it! Silly really as I put far too much pressure on myself. Thanks for replying Pete and hope the Whitley is going well. Best wishes Bobby
some very impressive dioramas congrats, looking forward to seeing the 110 and whitley complete as well! Where did you get your tool stand from with the micro sol and set on?
Thank you for your kind words. I bought the to stand at a model exhibition which was held at the tank museum, Bovindon, Dorset. I’m afraid I don’t know the name of the supplier but I can tell you that WWW.hobbies.co.uk have a wide selection of these which are modular so that you can mix and match them. Hope you find something suitable for you .

Well, a delightful assortment depicting small bits of history memorialised in polystyrene and other items close to hand from your modelling over the decades. Each is an excerpt of a man's life blending your imagination and artistic talent, with historical fact and military technology.
