I almost fell victim some time ago. I was on the phone with this scammer, about to enter my pin when I heard the sound of a rooster crowing in the background. I cancelled the transaction fast 😂😂 Thank God for that rooster.
I canceled my order when the person attending to me insisted on payment before delivery. People are out here spoiling other people’s businesses. I initially felt it was an inside job. Probably some of the staff teaming up to do this.
Papaye should do same. I never knew papaye doesn't do delivery until a friend was scammed. If you report the issue then they try to sober you up with flimsy excuses.
My friends and I were also scammed in January of 700 cedis. From that day, I rather go walk go hw3. I told them they said they're working on it. Thank God ❤💯💯🔥
I went to one of the branches to buy pizza. At that moment, a guy was scammed. He paid twice and did not get any food. He later called to complain only to be told is not pizzaman mono number. It’s a good move by management.
They are stupid, 11 months? For something you could simply contact google verify your org and get those listings removed? This makes me know they are not keen on investing in tech talent
But Ghana paa de3, so If pizzaman didnt take it upon themselves to try and catch these people, the police would have just been there taking statements and not doing anything about it. 11 months to catch a momo scammer? What are the Telcos doing to even help in these cases. Like the way laws work in Ghana Is so frustrating. Good police work will have helped catch these people in like a week. Ah. What is MTN even doing to help? I am really confused about how things work in Ghana when citizens are scammed.
As much as I sound like I'm bashing the victims, my simple question is, dont they do any form of due diligence? dont they confirm the amount before authorising the payment? Also I don't think they actually went to the website for the number. They prolly just Google pizzaman branch for the area their in and then called the phone number that appeared on Google. What people should know is, it's dead simple to list a place on Google and add contact information. That's more likely what the scammers used and the victims sadly fell for it
Pizzaman have to be careful and watchful this kind of fraudulent activities kept happening concerning your company and they don't know they will update their website?.Untill someone got scanned before they'll do the right thing..Aaba!

I’m confused, is that the scammers have an exact copy of their official website online, or the fake branches are on the pizza man official website? Cos If I heard the lady right she says it’s on the pizza man official site.
There’s a better way of catching these bloks, pizzaman must check where the sites a hosted, obviously it will have a high level domain. So the Ghana law enforcement can request the identity of the owners of the site..
Yup. This is why I always wonder what the cybercrime unit of the police service is doing. If they were to effectively collaborate with the telcos, most of these criminals can be flashed out.
Still Ghanaian won’t see the use of Ghana card This biometric card works in USA and Europe for registration in all online activities. I’m not on the other side ‘politically’ buh trust me it’s a next level system in the country
