Hi Nicole, It was a great trip which we took just before covid. I believe that it hasn't changed much at all since then. The range and number of animals at the waterhole in Etosha was spectacular, a very memorable experience. We only had the one puncture, thankfully :) Tx for watching and all the best, Rob

I would love to see all the animals but not keen on the self driving, as (for me) driving is a real chore, especially having to change tyres in any heat never mind 40C. Big Daddy looked fun and I have seen people sledging down on those sand dunes. The Tug Restaurant looked unusual and loved the kayaking, quite a sight indeed. Fascinating place to visit but those temperatures would be far too much for me, cheers Alan

Rob this was absolutely brilliant and great that you stayed in pre booked lodges. Loved the birds sat on your car windscreen ! The gravel must have been hard to drive on, no wonder it took so long :) and shame you had a puncture too. The desert Homestead looked so good with all of the singing from the staff. Those sand dunes at sunrise were amazing to see especially the big daddy one. Loved the German style architecture in Swakomund, that was beautiful and seemed unusual there :) and the beach you went to with the jackals living there was stunning and great footage of the birds too. That place with the granite and volcanic rock was also stunning, shame you missed the elephants but so cute having those little visitors especially that parrot and it was so interesting to hear that the rock carvings were between 2-6000 yes old ! This was so so good Rob, thank you for this well explained tour 👍 ~ Anna
Cheers; this is far away from the New Forest and very fun to watch. Seeing a little touch of old Germany was one highlight; but the nature is the big star for me of course:) So looking forward to next part and the lesson for me is that there are places outside Europe worthwhile to visit:-) All the best, Ant P.S Did the brandy taste as well as it looked?
