Wow! I've never seen someone explain the difference and cause of PIH/PIE this well before! I was under the impression that PIH was what I had because of "hyperpigmentation" but it was mostly PIE all along because of my sensitive acne prone skin. Super interesting and this helps me even more with taking the steps to treat my skin properly. (which I will watch via your next video in a bit, haha!) Thank you!
You have helped me so much in my skin care regimen. I already know what SPF to wear and how to maintain the flawlessness of my skin cause of you.THANK YOU!!. your makeup game is fire! hugs!
Thank you, this was helpful in identifying what I have and I can't wait for the next video. After we graduated high school, my skin has always been an issue lol
Does anyone else get a "Janice" (from Friends) like vibe from her? And I mean that as a compliment cause I love that character. Especially at 5:22 she sounds a lot like her. Again, it could be just me.
Thanks For the info The darkness and discoloration around the mouth in African Americans /Africans is considered as hyperpigmentation? How is it treated?
Excellent question! Yes, the discoloration around the mouth is a form of hyperpigmentation. In fact, African Americans are more prone to this skin condition due to the melanin in the skin. I'll go into more details in the follow up "part 2" video, which will be uploaded next weekend. There I will be addressing how to treat different types of hyperpigmentation depending on your skin type and skin color. ☺️
