Adding that the Discord does require some stuff to get in that may take a while to verify, and the TH forums also have a dedicated forum page giving out and asking for codes. I didn't have to wait more than 24 hrs for someone to post a list of codes there, at which point I could message people to grab codes for my friends. Just in case anyone is curious

where did u get the code?

there are threats where people post them publically (although you need to be extra quick to use them first) OR to be more certain you can make a deal with someone to send a code directly to you ✋but✋ usually it's in exchange for art/custom only. be careful not to be scammed

i used one i downloaded online but its just a pixel brush with anti aliasing! any brush like that works!

FH and NFS can pretty much be used interchangeably yea! i suppose the difference is that nfs kind of gives the impression that the character is not for sale so long as that's up, whereas FH implies the character will never leave that persons toyhouse so it will NEVER go ufo. but you could basically use either to tell ppl ur not selling the character

@@Qwizz same man! like even if it's a design why do people act like you have to do something with ever character? I have a oc universe with the most characters but I won't use all of them. I mostly like drawing my favorites

@@pinkieglitterheart its just overall a stupid thing to be mad about, as long as you paid for them/obtained them legitimately, the character BELONGS TO YOU and you can do whatever u want with it, even not draw it for 10 yrs. cuz its YOURS it screams entitled to get mad at ppl for not giving u their ocs

@@Qwizz yeah exactly! plus makes people who do draw them or make theirs themselves worry having a bigger amount cause of this to. the amount of times I saw a thread in the forums asking if they or others are a hoarder because they have a lot is insane. all cause people don't like that someone else has a 100 ocs or characters from dream designers

@@Qwizzyeah the only time I could understand the frustration is if someone buys a good chunk of a character adopt sheet or gacha and then does nothing with the characters. But at the same time I get it, I bought a character before and never used it lol

oh yeah! people use the term "vouchers" when they're trying to pay for something from someone who accepts a currency that they don't have, basically! so for example, if someone doesn't use paypal, but wants to buy a character from someone who only accepts paypal, they may try to find a voucher who can pay that person for them. Then, they pay the voucher back with another method (like cashapp or deviantart points), or pay the voucher back in art or characters :]

it honestly doesn't matter too much! i see people posting their commissions in pretty much every way you mentioned! you can post bulletins, but if you plan on posting bulletins frequently i'd recommend either making a literature or remembering to repost commission bulletin ads from time to time, because the posts will appear in your subscriber's feed when you post them, but they won't see them again after that unless they go to your page and scroll for them manually. literatures is an option i see a lot of people do if you want to keep it one spot! uploading a character works too, i usually make YCHs and adopts as characters so i can add the finished ones to the gallery but i definitely see a lot of people using characters to advertise comms as well! honestly do whatever you fancy and whatever works for you!
