He's not failing to read INFERNAL, it's because of the bad wording of Molten Giant. It says for each damage your hero has taken, but the real effect is for each health your hero is missing. He knows how it works, but probably isn't thinking about that at a glance.

Nobody plays Rend Blackhand, Hemet or Big Game Hunter, but Boulderfist Ogre can be resurrected by Kingpin Pud, so it is better.

@@Jaxz69-uj4if the same reason Shadow Priest runs Mind Blast and Even Shaman sometimes runs Frostbite in Wild. For reach. Board based strategies are inconsistent with how many board clears exist. Reach is good, especially if it's spell based face damage, since you can't rely on sticking a board as a Paladin. Your opponent, if they know how to play Hearthstone, WILL remove your stuff, because they know what happens if they don't. Auras aren't terrible with Handbuff and Crusader Aura into Glowsticks could easily finish off a game.

@@amberlee4536 Shadow Priest is an aggro burn deck. Even Shaman is also an explosive aggro deck. Handbuff Pally is not. 2 mana deal 5 > conditional 1 mana deal 4. Some of the most consistent meta decks atm are board based. You can reliably stick a board with Paladin. My opponents know how to play hearthstone I'm usually around 500 legend by the end of each month. You need a critical mass of minions to make handbuffs work and a significant amount of cheap holy spells to capitalize on glowsticks's cost reduction. Diluting your deck will reduce handbuff amount. This is bad. 4 mana deal 4 is not worth it.

Yes it’s true that the card is a one mana 8 health swing if you’ve played a holy spell but that’s the main problem. Neither mind-blast nor frostbite require any additional synergy while glow sticks does. That would be fine but there aren’t many good options for cheap holy spells at all right now. Hand of adal has been cut from most lists plus only keeper’s strength and crusader aura see play in those decks right now. So you’d essentially have to cut some good minions to run an additional holy spell package which just might not be worth it but shouldn’t be written off, hence the B tier rating. In the next two years though I do think we will see that card A LOT in future paladin decks.

They just chose not to do it this time. Some mini-sets have dual cards and others don't.

dual class cards are, unfortunately, not a core mechanic of the game, they were originally made specifically for one expansion in 2020 and then brought back recently but but they have never been a "regular" thing, I guess because they are hard to balance and it isn't always easy to come up with a design that fits multiple classes, kind of a shame because they are very cool

also given how greedy (((blizzard)))'s recent maneuvers have been I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to stop making them because they indirectly disincentivize people from buying more packs, since you can use them for twice as many classes and therefore decks you need less cards overall and therefore less packs, it is a bit of a conspiracy theory but honestly they have done way worse already, this wouldn't even be that crazy

Tbh every skilled player should always be paying attention to the order their minions are in. There are effects like Cleave, Ignition, Crushing Walls, Betrayal, Rolling Fireball, Lifesteal Aura, Funnel Cake, Conduction... Basically, anyone - even an exclusive-Standard player - who doesn't already pay attention to which minions are next others is only doing themselves a disservice

@@theonlyron Domino effect is going to clear many boards with no locations in them, you can't even put a higher health minion on one side as they can just choose the other side to start the ramping up damage with. So putting high health minions in the middle does help them survive

@@Jonius Honestly I disagree. As a control Warlock main, Defile is better than this in at least 75% of scenarios. It's cheaper, clears more reliably if you can slightly adjust numbers and are good at math, kills through deathrattles, has Shadow spell school, and doesn't lose to locations/dormants/opponents not having a lot of minions. Imo, aside from, golden scenarios, Domino leaves at least 1 or 2 minions most of the time. But still, I think it's worth it to play around it, like by: Having a small board, having a location/dormant minion in the middle, having evasive minions on the far sides, having high health minions in the middle, etc. 🙂

if the bomb synergy Dr. Boom was in standard you could be right, but what's the payoff for bombs? eventually dealing damage? doesn't sound thst crazy

@@rajkanishu we can talk 2 days after reveal. I Can see combo on turn 6 giving enemy 9 bombs in one turn... + neutral minion with bomb and late game ressurect style... i think thats enough for win a game. Also, warr have ways how to survive couple turns...

He said its like the other one, so it should not target the enemy board. The other one that says ALL, "ALL your other friendly minions" so I think it would affect theirs as well. I am interested though since the other one affects hand/deck too I believe.

@@tclfan0180 given how many things hearthstone has had to change due to toxic behavior in the past (like spamming long visual effects before you rope out that'd last an entire opponents turn forcing them to rope out) I expect toxic at this point, and this card looks like it has toxic potential lol.
