for some reason i was convinced harolds coudnt talk. I thought they could comprehend speach perfectly and would nod or ahake their heads to comunicate, making a small bell sound
Yeah I was thinking similar, but I also felt they would need to be able to communicate with the recipients in case there was a problem etc.🙌 I’m thinking they’ll maybe speak more concisely and straight to the point, with a little bit of polite formality (almost like a robot programmed for customer service). Definitely something to think about more!✨
I like the idea of them being a bit more human and having more of a personification than just being blank with little emotion bits. The focus on context on this one was really neat
What happens when the herald has left the wind tunnel presumably well prepared but while he's on the move an unexpected event occurs? Can a herald be stuck somewhere? Will someone come to help them?
S-SANTA? JKJK >.< I love seeing the world building and the stories of each character and environment. I'd love to hear about some of the design process or what you were thinking of when designing the Herald. They give Nymph Santa vibes which is such a fun concept!! Keep up the great work!!! Edit: WAIT I MISSED THE LAST VIDEO NVM CARRY ON WITH THE AMAZING WORK!!!
i personally would always boil some water in the kettle if I'm expecting a package! no herald would go without a nice hot cup of water on my watch!! 😤💕💕
I love this idea! I'm very curious about how they are stored in the stamps, and how much autonomy they have in that regard. Also, who manages them? Who created the postal service, and how did it become so prolific? Can other beings use the wind tunnels? Are they a mode of transportation in the world? Are the wind tunnels protected from anything other than the Heralds using them? So many questions!! This project is ao interesting and exciting and inspiring! I'm so so SO happy I stumbled upon your channel!!
Hey Lily!🥺 I've been following you for a while now and I can't tell you how comforting and inspiring it is to listen to your stories and watch your drawings. I was wondering if you'd consider doing a live stream here. Because your worldbuilding is really amazing and you explain it to us so well. I don't want to if it's going to be stressful for you, but I'm sure there would be a lot of people here who would be excited to join in if you did~ (and again wonderful video as usual!!! I want to hug the heralds so bad)
I've been slowly preparing to release my own worldbuilding stuff, and your project has been a massive inspiration. Can't wait to learn more about the world, I'd love to see how the everyday person goes about life in the Membrane.
I really enjoyed this feature and your exploration of it! It really helped to bring a heavily utilized but rarely mentioned system into the spotlight. Looking forward to some more nest egg content too!
You can make an artbook or a bestiary and people would definitely buy it. Do you have a Patreon, watching this for free feels like I'm committing a crime. Your world building is so intriguing 👍
