SO the new RC does not just have a built-in screen but also audio recording capabilities! Sounds like a really practical choice to get the Mini3 PRO with the RC combo.
Thanks for this BUT I’m pulling my hair out why can’t I get a screen recording clean video feed without the telemetry! Then I can get a video with audio??? 😩😭
HI Henrik, do you know how to record audio with the new Air 3 Smartcontroller? As that doesn't have the extra USB-C input of the normal Smartcontroller...
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA ok, then it is a little short of the air 3, although it sais, when screenrecording: 'Recording screen and audio'. And: 'Tap to stop'. Strenge it sais that when it doesn't record audio. Maybe we are missing something... hope that is the case. - Keep up the good work! 😇
Hello Sir, great tips on how to get audio when using DJI Mini 3 Pro. Do you know if I use the 'USB C Wireless Microphone Lavalier Plug Play Microphone Mini Mic Recording Auto-Sync' (No Need App/Bluetooth) work with the RC? I am concern about interference it might cause. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
It appears there is a ~500ms sync delay between the audio and video when you were talking. I presume the audio is recorded on SD card video file, correct? Or, are you dubbing in a separate audio file from the ipad during post edit, to play with the drone video?
I bought this mic and I did the test. the microphone worked when i recorded the screen. I'm not sure if it will work if I use these automatic functions like mastershot etc because it's supposed to overlap with the audio from those pre-programmed flight functions
Would of been nice to just include a built in mic. Then just give us the ability to turn it on or off. There should be an indicator saying you have a mic attached, similar to the action 2.
Absolutely, your 70 Corvette is for sure a very nice specimen. I'll just be stoked when the time comes I can afford the other cool toy in the video, the Mini 3 pro😛. I absolutely love my Mini2 but this Mini 3 is just ridiculous sick💪. I need it, want it, kinda gotta have it.. sooner than later.. Should be some bent and dent on eBay soon, c'mon people crash a few if them so I can afford one dangit😆✌️.

I was wondering about that because I remember seeing a video where someone said you can use the dji wireless mic to the controller then I see a lot of influences and creators said it doesn't record sound.
It's nice to see DJI return the audio recording feature back to the DJI RC. I heard you can even plug your DJI Mic into it and get audio. Thanks for sharing and I like the new Vette.
I'm a bit torn in two with this video..... Mainly because I am as interested if not more in looking at that sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet ride..... Maybe a remake of the movie Corvette Summer from you with some classic drone shots lol
Excellent! I bought a Mike the other day when I found out the controller does support audio recording but haven’t tried it yet but happy to see it does work!!! Aren’t you happy your beautiful car wasn’t made by DJI?!!! Haha! Oh, sorry, we forgot to tell you the car needs gas to run!!!!! Enjoy!!

My father had a model stingray that had a split glass rear windshield. Had a seem down the middle. He then sold that one and bought another that looked identical but was a newer model that had a single piece of glass; it was a very powerful car. Loved riding in it! My favorite car he owned though was his 85/86 white 911. Something about classic sport cars!
Android have screwed up the fly app with the latest update Android 12 and DJI are bringing out a beta version 1.6.12 to correct the problem where apparently the app keeps on switching itself off or not launching. I believe the problem is mainly on phones rather than the RC and it appears now that they have issued a new fly app to replace the beta which they have called 1.6.10 so just to be awkward if you’ve already downloaded the beta which is 12 it won’t let you load the new version which is 10 because it’s a lower number so you have to delete 12 first before you reinstall 10
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA It's a bit pricey, otherwise, I would have got one. Don't know if anyone else has had this happen, but when I try active track, the drone just sat there like a little dog waiting to be called. Drew the box around myself, pressed trace or the parallel, I did not realise I had to select the go again.
Ie this sucks bc dji could release a firmware update that whenever the video stars recording an audio track could start. Then their firmware could mix the audio from the mic / remote to the video from the drone. It’s so unbelievably frustrating
I would have liked this video better if you had finished it by allowing us to see the video you were filming with the drone so that we could actually hear how the audio part turned out. You just left us hanging dude....
If you swipe down on the screen, you will see a little headset/mic icon, confirming that a microphone is connected. Shame that there is no easier way to start a screen recording, like double tap the function buttons or similar. Currently it is too clunky. But, dude, why no seatbelt? Does the car not have one? If you have an accident you could end up as a human drone, with RTH set to ‘by ambulance’!
I know this question would apply to another one of your videos , I’ve watched most about mini 3 pro and your encounters with the drone police ! Lol But is there a fix for a EU mini 3 with smart remote to have a more powerful signal . Dji I don’t think will update anymore for range . It’s not range I’m after as I can get 1km which is sufficient for me but if I’m stood just 20 meters away and a small hill is between me and my drone , I lose signal which I find is unacceptable when we know the drone in FE mode is capable of this . I’m not happy with the way DJI advertised the up to ( I think 12 km or more? ). Thanks
