I am American Born but was raised in Germany for 24 years. Then I moved with my husband to my family in the states and now almost 6 years later I am packing my things and move back to Germany because it is just where my heart is! I am just waiting for the corona thing to clear a bit and then the kids and I will start a new chapter of life

I'm excited for you! Moving back to Europe must make you to have all the mixed feelings when you have family and friends in both ends. Enjoy the last days in US collecting the last memories of beautiful moments. I'm a little bit sad I found your beautiful yarns a little bit too late. Will try to get some in my hands when I visit Europe hopefully in the autumn/winter.

I find I am feeling a little sad after watching this episode. I do wish you a safe and smooth move for all of you. I think you are probably right about leaving that Cardi untill the fall. From the look at it, I wouldn't have known the back was in reverse. The deep texture is just so plush. Hugs on all the moving feels Molly ❤️

I would totally just knit it as is, and you’ll have two brks or two brps in a row where they come together. It will look almost like an intentional side seam? I would not rip it out for a thousand dollars 😂

I'm not sure if someone else mentioned it but if the September Sweater bothers you enough and you want to redo it I have read and heard podcasters say that if you put mohair in the freezer for a while then it is easier to rip out than otherwise. That said, I have no idea how long it needs to be in there for it to work but I'm assuming google might be able to help with that. :) Best of luck on your move to Germany and I am sure that taking Ollie(?) will give both you and your grandmother comfort. I know that it makes sense for them to give up their pets but it always makes me so sad that they have to give up their homes, many of their things and on top of that their best friends. Luckily, some places do have cats or visits from animals from time to time.
