Thanks for the video. I LOVE Clark - Michigan loaders, and I'm surprised to see so many criticizing Cummins V8 engines. Although they sound nice, I don't have any experience with them. However, I do know lots of users don't stick to maintaining them properly or on schedule, the reason why it ends up badly. Having said that, there are indeed some engines more reliable than others.
Man you have great taste in stuff to share! Really dig yer content! E9s, Brock's, I would love to see that 225(?) in the shed next to yer D7! Cheers from Santa Cruz
@@Blazefork When those 555 first came out a friend of my family bought a bunch of them in Brockways for his trash business. Everyone of them blew up within a year. After that he went to an all mack fleet
@@joecummings1260 I've had the "pleasure" of working on one on a 555 Versatile tractor, I think the 903 was a bit better but I'm not a huge fan of V configured diesels unless their green lol.
@@Blazefork When I bought my place there was a Mack DM800 out in the back lot that was built with an early V-8 mack, They blew so many motors that Mack put a brand new 1693 Cat in it. The guy was a big time Mack customer so I guess he wanted to keep him happy. I wish I would have gotten that truck, but it was sold before I bought the building. I did get one of the R600 tractors though. He bought 3 identical in 1986 6 speed low hole, 285 engines,,,,,. They sat in the building until 92 before he even put a tag on them. Must be nice to have that kind of money
@@joecummings1260 According to some friends of mine, Mack made some super engines, I've never been around them, they say your either a Mack guy or your not, the people I know who have them love them.
