I thought that I was the only one that had crap luck that just kept compounding. Perseverance brother. Have always liked the tri-axle heavy hauls. Have several friends that haul odd load's here in Ohio. The old upi in Mt Vernon had some old Brockways and REO's. Liked the rain cap reference. When I was in diesel school in '79-'81, my instructor was adamant about unnecessary restrictions. He couldn't stand to see trucks come in to the shop with rain cap hinges to the front where the air going down the road would cause pressure vs turning it 90 degrees. The electrical instructor was big into radios and knew how radio signals travelled. He just shook his head and laughed at these hands with their antennas cocked forward 45 degrees -- talking to the pavement. Friend of ours just returned from a Dakota pheasant hunt (and understand this was a year ago). Have an adopted son who lives over that way. A bad day in the woods, fields, or on the water beats a good day at work --- planning on spending a lot more time out this year. Have a 53 year old John Almand hardtop on lake Erie. Hard to beat yellow lake perch -- although fresh caught blue crab stuffed flounder at the family's place on the lower eastern shore has to be my favorite. Stay safe Blessings
Dealing with Peterbilt you realize most of those guys are assholes. Even trying to buy a truck from them is a hassle. Not what they used to be. Good to see you back rolling !!
I've been going through withdrawals without your videos. I know that everyone needs their down time and family time. Glad you're back on the the road, as always be safe. Your friend here in Tenn. I-75 exit 134 at the base of the mountain where all of the construction starts (that's been going on for damn near 10 yrs)!
Mr. Dunkin sounds like the Service people we have to deal with these days. The service industry is in a world of hurt and not only in the trucking industry.. Thanks so much for your videos. Your voice reminds me so much of my late brother. You two share the same voice inflections and curiosity about life and the people we encounter on our daily travels.. You sure you didn't grow up in the Baltimore area? Thanks again for your great content. Really enjoy your views on good food and some of the out of the way places it can be found. Safe trip home to Florida. .
Hey mitch ! Thanks for the updates & videos !! Have a good time hunting & Of Course ,,with your Wife !! Hope ALL goes well till the end of the year as you have had a time this year !!
The structure of those Trail King trailers is quite remarkable. Some of the Heavy stuff you haul is just that Heavy for sure! Ive yet to see a dangerous bow or sag under those immense loads. ps, I also agree that the Sandvik LH410 seems like quite the machine. Many blessings and stay safe on your travels
I like the way that you compliment the people and places that you have to deal with when you get good service and I really like the way you call assholes out by name. Those kinds of people need to be named .Really enjoy your videos and the yard walks and the way you present you views on things
How do you like the new Peterbilt 389 with the digital dash? My question will they chance the the Texas square bumper for the frontal collision cameras? How will the new technology affect the business?
Glad to see you back . I always look forward to your Videos . I know you will be glad to be Home for a while . That screener is a big MoFo .Stay safe Brother . Glad to see the Cat Express doing his thing . 🇺🇸
Hi ! Mitch Sorry to hear of all your troubles you been having hope everything goes smoother now on. Enjoy your pheasant hunting and vacation with your wife. Be waiting on more videos they are interesting. Good luck from West Virgina
Love how you put it like it is.calling the guy out , don't want to go to Denver now. I've ran into a lot of asshole's over the years don't need to meet another.
Remember the name: Jason Duncan Excellent update. . .how are the new Truck and Trailer coming along? Everything still on schedule? P.S. buy the Autocar. It is what Mitch needs. Mitch will find a used for it. .
Have you thought installing PDI manifold and tuner. Have it on a Cummins 605hp and is the best thing I've done. No issues with truck. Stay safe out there.
Love people who confuse I can't with I won't. Surprised you didn't go over to Utah and down then over rather than through Montrose, but then you would have had to go over Wolf Creek. Redhead!! 😊😊
Hey Mitch. Time for well deserved time off. Seems like lots of places have one asshole and normally in the office. Can you get the jeep delivered after its repaired? Enjoy the hunting!!!
Pheasant hunting 1 time. Most fun I ever had. Out in the field, nobody getting any birds , so I Mosier on over to another field near by bang all the birds. Me and my buddy got 5 in a matter of minutes. I thought what's wrong with these old dudes. I was 15 and wandered into the safe zone, the nature preserve. Glad I did not get caught.
Meanwhile back in the Dominican Republic someone in the accounting is saying wtf we paid 3-4 trucks TONU fees because we didn’t want to pay to break it down, or pay for everything associated with over height.. “What in the _____ Sam Hill where you geniuses thinking?
What area are you hunting in? I'm from Winner and we have some of the best hunting in the state. If you're in the area I'll gladly buy you a beer in exchange for Frontier coozie. Just to bad the Pete isnt coming. It would fit in with all the Blaze Orange next weekend.
Sorry brother the world is really starting to get full of those type a people I can feel the pain went through something similar on one of my trucks. Always kills me that shippers think we work for pennies and need the work and are willing to do it for nothing. Your a little kid, got my Class A in 1974 to stupid to quit doing this course Biden administration isn't giving much encouragement to stop, now if Daimler will just deliver my new Western Star 49x 4 axle. hate curfews been stuck in many wrong places waiting because traffic screwed me
For someone to own a Heavy Haul Business you sure don't be using enough securement on the Equipment you haul. I see 5 chains and binders and 4 of them are attached to the Equipment making them Direct Tie Downs which cuts your WWL in 1/2. But hey u own the Company and I've only been hauling Equipment for the last 18yrs.
Jerks like the guy at Rush are why I’d never go there again unless it was absolutely necessary. And then I’d be in the manager’s face about how they run their business.
