Ace21421 Btw how far can you hit a target with your SVD?

Ace21421 In indoors (perfect condition), with .43 bb's I was able to hit a human sized target up to a 75 meters (8 shots out of 10). The testing area was 78 meters long from wall to wall, So I would guess that the bb would fly even further than that. I was overhopping the bb a bit, but with actual effective playing distance I would keep it down to a 65 meters outdoors. I don't like to overhop too much and wind is a bitch in 50+ meters as I live near the coast. Edit: If you are going to get more stuff for the SVD, I would recommend a good scope (with parallax adjustment) and superb quality white .43 bb's. All darker bb colours disappear too quickly when you are shooting longer distances. Also, it is cool to have a POSP style scope in your SVD, but I would recommend to get a 3-9x50E scope. POSP scopes suck with zoom distance, eye relief and lens diameter, unless you are ready to buy a real steel version.

Ace21421 Have you adjusted the unit all the way to the maximum setting? Does the same thing happen even then? If not, then you have adjusted a bit too little hop up so that the bb's can roll out without the hop up rubber actually even touching it and keeping the bb's in the chamber. Then you can check the adjustment of that little ball bearing at the end of the unit. It stops the bb's from the magazine to accidentally roll into the hop up unit and causing double feeding etc. If you are using the stock hop up rubber that comes with the gun, throw it away and buy a proper rubber (Prometheus).

rutsenhauer Hey i fixed the problem. I just installed it again. Thx for your answer your videos helped me a lot. Do you recommend me the Airsoftpro Piston gen3? i dont really know if it is necessary to buy it. I would do it if it is really sensful.

Ace21421 If you have only the stock piston, I would recommend buying a upgraded one just because the possible durability and airseal issues with stock pistons. Gen 3 piston costs only few euros more than the Gen 2, so the newer one should be the one to buy. A&K stock pistons usually are OK quality, but at least I have made a noticeable difference between them and the Airsoftpro upgraded ones. But if you want to be sure with your money, you can follow the general rule: If it works, don't fix it. (or in this case, upgrade it) =)

+Eagle94 Original barrel was 590mm, but I have since installed a Madbull Python 650mm 6.03.

Is this madbull is good barrel? I asking because I too want to buy it.

From it's price range, it's excellent. But if you have the money, I would recommend a Prometheus 6.03 barrel.

And that black cover doesnt come off? You had some stucked bbs in it? Sorry fom my english.

If you meant with black cover the hop up unit, then yeah, the black cover doesn't come off. The whole unit is solid metal piece (not including small moving parts like the screws) There was no bb's stuck anywhere.
