Salaamaleikum! i come from conservative christian family and for the first time my mom sat down and watched with me! ...with suspicious eyes she watched but there were some affirmative "mmhhh" in the middle 🤣 but she watched the whole 40mn when they usually just look the other way! this is a very very very very big thing happened today in my house!!! i'd like also to add one big difference for me between islam and the other religions: rememberance! i really think that the 5 daily rememberance (salat) and the yearly rememberance (ramadan, 8.5% of total year) are the big powerful tools to help us stay connected to religion in 21st century. i suppose there are some other religions that also have daily practice but the muslim prayer and ramadan are known by the whole world, and as our teacher said it stands out by it's ease and simplicity... and yet! there are times when we can't even do that even if we have no excuses not to.. may Allah forgive us and guide us to the road of His satisfaction
@@লেফাফাদুরস্ত amin. but brother i am not trying anything, i just put it on TV it's there and she came. it is a very delicate issue when dealing with people of faith, it's not the same as talking to people who are not religious

Assalamu Alaikum, To believe that we need to understand every single aspect of our Deen, suggests that we have a capacity to appreciate ALLAH's 'thinking', or that ALLAH's decision making is similar to our extremely limited intellectual capacity...therin lies the fallacy.
Having trouble believing in a creator doesnt necessarily show arrogance. The person may just have trouble believing in light of the imperfections of this world such as the way mosquitos actually need to suck on the blood of animals for survival
Having trouble is different than rejecting the notion of a creator... Yes u will want at some points proofs for a creator and there are numerous arguments and real life examples which is rational .. but what here is being said by YQ is even after listening to those arguments and refusing to ponder on around our environment and just rejecting the notion of a creator shows arrogance or I'd say they refuse to believe in a day of judgement
You are right when you say "not necessarily". But most of the time arrogance is the reason. I have had such people around me, besides the explanations heard and read from so many atheists. Now we are not going ti leave our mosqeto completely free in an imperfect universe. We are going to let science itself deal with him, when it (science) places him (our predatary mosqueto) in an INTERDEPENDANT universe where astro-physicians and biologists have discovered this necessary inter-dependance...they are still busy explaining the phenomenum. Our muslim ancestors theologists, scientists and mystics, had, as mu-minuun, a principle : When something in Quran was not in harmony with what they observed, they said "Allahu a3lam". They could not understand but they would never therefore doubt or reject the word of Allah 3azza wa jal. Does'nt He ask us "not to be impatient, because He will show us in us and around us the truth of His (verses). Indeed, those mu-minun are gone but "Allahu A3lam" proved through modern scientific discoveries to be the right attitude to adopt in front of the unknown. I heartedly suggest you google up the astro-physician TRINH XUAN THUAN. There are other scientists interesting in this field, but T. Xuan Thuan is like Dr. Yasir Qadhi, spiritual, poet and with the accuracy of the scientist. Oooo i remember right now that the Shaykh is a Dr. in biology!!! SubhanaLlah, my anology is spontaneous but not "by chance" haha. I also suggest the book of the bioligists Pablo servigne and Gauthier Chapelle. It is in French but maybe it is translated in English. The title in French is " L' entraide, l'autre loi de la jungle" (Helping each other, the other law of the jungle). Here we are, your whole point : The law of the jungle ! But necessary and...BENEFICIENT.
@@sisterfleur7523 yes but at the end of the day that survival comes at the cost of the other animals suffering and life which is kinda fucked up. And female hyenas have penises, making it impossible for them to give birth without ripping their penis. Thats kinda fucked up.
@@jerryidris7569 that's fucked up to you. But it's natural. Do you think the creator should have aligned with your (or mine) standards of what's fucked up or not?
Salamalaykum. Should we not inquire why govts around the world are indiscriminately coercing the populace into medical injections for a disease with 0.5% mortality rate?
that's not his job. This lecture is for the people who are already interested (more or less) in believing. It's not for the people who disgrace the idea of the creator.Just like Dawkins and Hitchens can only convince the people who already are convinced(more or less).
Guys, please look into Dr Shabir Ally and you will be enlightened. He speaks on islam from a reasonable perspective reviving the rationality that the wahabbis abandon and hate so much
@@Hamza000h Hadith are very important...You must focus on both quran and hadith...you can't have one without the other...also do you even know what "wahabbis" call to?
Atheist: If you're good because of the fear of punishment, then are you really good? Theist:If there's no God then what is good? Atheist:I don't understand, what you're trying to say. Theist:If there's no God then we have no purpose. Then you and I are meaningless. We are just some atoms arranged in a random way waiting to be rearranged which is inevitable.Just like the phone in your hand. Then killing you will be the same as breaking that phone of yours. Atheist:So? Theist:If you have any kind of morality then that is made up & imaginary.Just like God is according to you're perspective. Therefore, you'll be in a logical fallacy and you'll be denying the ultimate truth (which you behold to be). That means if there's no God then there's nothing called good.b
I think that's more dependant on the people carrying it out and the situation they're in, we've seen religions in the past being implemented to bring about great prosperity as well as terrible suffering just like most other idealogies.
