Yes indeed! My programming machine is a Linux without any AI gimmic, or fancy env. Only dev stuff, browser, end of story. No n+1 productivity apps, and all that bs
I'd recommend buying a 4k display for productivity. Zero distraction & endless field for windows Having multiple snapping displays, keyboards, bells and whistles is too distracting
the first 5 seconds got me "hmm, that's a thick laptop. like my old middle school laptop. idk if i like that" and then he lift the keyboard and im just "oh."
even if it was thicker, laptops for school are much thinner as they prioritize battery efficiency and weight so they go with more ultra book designs. I worked for a school district where we were one of the first in the country to do 1 to 1 ratio of devices to students from 1st grade to 12th. (around 25K total students across 26 elems, 12 middle schools and 4 highschools in my district.) Most any decently powerful laptop is going to be thicker than a school device.
yeah, well, a laptop thats designed to be lightweight with two big screens AND a detachable keyboard. im not shocked if its structural integrity isn't the best
It's hard for me to get to all my comments but don't listen to what anyone says, I'm always filtering out real love so I will always get to these eventually. I can't speak for anyone else but know that with me, the support is always appreciated 💯
Actually, you're supposed to pull the kickstand out and lean it back on a corner when using it in vertical mode... that's why the kickstand has those cut off corners.
Got lucky and got my zenbook duo 2024 120hz oled, ultra 7 155H & 16gb ram on the 21st.. in the asus system setting app i put 8gb allocation to the arc GPU & the fan speed option to performance mode with the AC power and was able to play all games on high setting with few tweaks in graphics setting of the games which i couldn't believe a laptop without RTX can even do lol
