Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Zach, it is interesting watching you and your Dad interact. He encourages you to give advise and present your ideas. Now you are doing the same thing with Onyx when you and he are working on a project together. You encourage Onyx to give his input on a subject and you don't put him down for what he is thinking. You can clown around with him but you also do listen to his suggestions and that will help Onyx make good decisions later on in his life. You boost his self-confidence when you encourage him and listen to him. You and Becky are great parents. Blessing to you all.

Onyx takes his hunting to heart, it’s a great way to continue learning about the outdoors. In this day and age people tend to forget about family, I’m truly happy that you and Becky are involved with all of the kids. They are blessed to have you as parents.

Been through the wind flipping stands over. Get some T-post and drive them at angles at the base of the 4 legs then either drill holes in the post and screw the legs to them or wire them to the post. May need to put screws in the legs so the wire does not slide. The only other option is mobile home screw anchors. If you get those under the stand it may hold, but best is away and anchor at angles. This gets in the way of mowing.

Hi Zach. I have been following you for sometime now. I have grown fond of your efforts to bring farm safety to forefront in your videos at times. I recently started my own TikTok account and posted a video on safety, filling silos and entering silos with dangerous gases. Unfortunately, today we lost three community members due to silo gases. A father and two sons. I want to say thank you for your efforts to bring safety talk to your videos.

Sad loss, the Amish don't do tik tok or youtube. It is too bad we have elected a government that trys to shut down an Amish farmer selling meat in the name of safety. It would be amazing if the government lead the charge on farm safety and helped get the message out. Zach keep up the good work, absolutely priceless knowledge.

Great fun watching you guys toy with gravity. Saw the Traeger sponsor note at the beginning, Great! My wife got me one about 6 years ago for Father's Day. Loved it since. One of her favorites for me to make, smoked SPAM. Yes. There is a way to cut the SPAM block into connected fingers to have lots of smoked surface area. That and a plate of pancakes with maple syrup - Yumm! A smoked pizza is a treat also. That's after doing all the other stuff - pork beef chicken ribs roasts sausages fruit fish beans - most anything tastes incredible when smoked. Enjoy.

When I was in high school, we were having a clean up day at the football field. I was using the weed-eater in some overgrown shrubbery and discovered that bumble bees will also nest in overgrown shrubbery. They will also swarm a weed-eater as long as it is making noise. Even after it runs to the other end of a football field, with its handler getting stung multiple times. It is harder to hit a bumble bee with a weed-eater than it is for a bumble bee to hit a weed-eater handler. I learned a lot that day.

1 screw anchor -1 rachet strap, screw the anchor in the ground below the middle of the stand, attach the rachet strap to the bottom center of the stand & the other hook to the top of the anchor tighten up. Stand stays up year after year! Even in high winds, & Maybe not a tor-nader. Some find a 55gal drum and fill with rocks & also attach a rachet to it.

Time to do a "cognac butter injected" Bison Tenderloin. Have fun with the new grill! Oh and by the way - I once had a student ask what to do if your parents are throwing rocks and poking yellow jackets/hornet/bumblebee nest during a beekeeping presentation. My reply was to grab your phone and video the results and post it online - I see the results are about what I expected in your example. Very glad you did not react to the sting and were able to enjoy your tasty meal.

To fix the oil leak at your tractor engine oil drain plug, plumb your shop vac into the crankcase ventilator to put a vacum on the inside of the engine. You then can pull the drain plug and only lose a few drops of oil while you quickly fix the seal and reinstall the drain plug. That is unless the new emisions prevents that. Also works well to do the vacume trick when changing oil, it lets you get the drain plug completly out without making a mess. After the drain plug is completly removed, just turn off the vacum, and it drains.
