It’s incredible how unbelievably consistent you are. Every morning at 6am I get ready for my day with a humbling story. It’s important to me to do so because in a society obsessed with being better than the next person it can be easy to forget how blessed you are. These interviews make me so much more empathetic and understanding.

Don't thank him for his service because he's full of shit. His description of the Korean DMZ is totally fake. Proof: The US Military does not have a command post nore does it have a settlement in the DMZ for active troops the UNC is the active command on the South Korean (AKA "our side") side. This is Stolen Valor this guy is a fraud when it comes to military service and make you wonder what else he is lying about. My experience to both in regards to being in the military and drug related stuff he's mostly fabricating stories. I mean you can see this guy making up his sob stories as he keeps yapping. If you know how to read peoples facial expressions it's easy to read this guy and see through his bullshit.

So I guess that's why my comment was erased too, LOL 😁. I want to thank you for sharing your experience, strength and hope with us. I too am a recovering addict, I will have 8 years clean in September and I understand the insanity of it all, the crazy decision making, thinking that we are making a proper decision when we are out of our minds and finding out later, once out of the fog, how lucky we are to just be alive and how so very wrong that decision really was, starting to find some gratitude for those little things in life that truly matter. We are all manipulative and we're all liars on some scale, everyone is different but we (addicts) all lie even though it may seem like something that is no big deal at the time, I came to find out that it was one of the biggest character defects that I needed to change about myself which is why I never lie about anything today. Lying means that I may have a needle sticking out of my arm in no time because of the series of events that can or most likely will, happen if I begin to lie again, that's how serious it is. I admire your ability to see the error of your ways and your strength for being able to still desire to be sober after losing your daughter and the mother of your child among other things. I am certain that your story will help another addict who is struggling, I know it helped me and having these reminders like a story from another person like myself is always the medicine that I need to keep me sober for one more day so thank you once again for sharing with us. You truly helped me personally today to stay sober. Love and light -K
