Today I wanted to give a pretty huge life update, things changing and having to leave this art space has been really sad and a tough decision to make, but ultimately one I hope will be the best decision for the future.

Thank you for supporting me through all I do, this will be a bit of a difficult time but I can't wait to make bigger and better content when I've finally moved.

As someone who hates shortform content, this shift where so many creators feel like they have to start doing it really makes me feel sad 😢. Shortform is fine sometimes but even after scrolling Instagram for 10 minutes and seeing clips in between photos I literally feel like my head is full of garbage/nonsense and need to take a break from it.

I like long too, especially for certain content. It was weird to see Moriah publish some shorts. Shorts have their place, but so does long form. The focus and impact is different and I suspect it’d be hard for creators to be master of both at the same time.

I feel like short form is something i dive into and later im like I just wasted 2 hours of my life. When I watch long content I feel like I learn things or am truly entertained. It feels like much less of a waste of time.

@wintersprite I don't plan on my children being able to live on their own for quite a while, now. My oldest is barely a teen. But the livable wage is too high to be attainable for most and I can't imagine what it will be like when she's ready.

@@wintersprite The housing market is poo right now, at least where I am. I’m 31 and moved from an apartment to a town home last year. The apartment complex needed me to move out after I had been there 8 years because they wanted to renovate the apartment to modernize it. Having connections is a must and using 'Indeed' is a good place to find high paying jobs. Right now it’s difficult for sure but it’s doable, so if you ever wanted to move out of your parents just know it’s possible 😊

Even when people are well meaning and have a heart of gold and have the best intentions, asking people if they're pregnant can be sometimes insulting and sometimes very painful depending on the circumstance. And then hitting us with the Moriah reference, girl I lost it XD Good luck on all the transitions, I know it's a huge upheaval and wish you the best!!!

Yes! It can be really painful! My husband and I really want a family and were going to start trying soon. I had a surprise pregnancy and within a week of finding out, I lost it. People ask us when we’re going to get started on our family. Once it was while I was still actively physically dealing with the miscarriage. It was all I could do to not burst into tears. People ask it with this mischievous spark in their eye and I know they mean no harm. But… it doesn’t stop the dagger stab of ice through my heart when they ask. I’m still recovering, still looking at my body and seeing how it was starting to change to be a home for my little one, and now it’s just… empty. Every time I see my reflection, notice my pants are still a bit tight, it’s a reminder. I don’t need people poking around out of idle curiosity. I think if it happens again, I may just tell the various matriarchs a fact based version and make it clear I don’t need awkward discussions about it, but I’m informing them so they can let people know what’s up, so they can pray for me, but also, so they can not be jerks without realizing it. Although they can mess that up too; of the people that know, one person said, “Well, it wasn’t the right time anyway, and you can always try again and have more later. You’re just lucky you didn’t start hemorrhaging, and you were only ‘a little pregnant.’ My sister hemorrhaged. Twice. Go have fun, travel while you can; kids just weigh you down.” Super helpful support. 😓 It just blows my mind that something as personal as family planning gets brought up so casually. Water cooler talk, or whatever.

I guess cause we are older, probably the age of your own parents, our attention span is a tad longer. I am an artist so that’s what drew me to you but I love Disney and Pooh bear too so you are just my kind of wonderful! Wow, watching this was such a full circle moment for me. I remember I really got into your videos back when I was in Middle School, scared of telling my parents I wanted to go into art as a career. Now I’m midway through college, and working full time as an art teacher at a private school. Mid-high school, things got really crazy for me, and I fell off watching your videos. It’s crazy seeing how much has changed/stayed the same for you since then. Thank you so much for doing what you do, and for being an inspiration to so many people! I would love to see any renovations you do, (even in short form content) and an empty house tour where you talk about what you think you might do with the space, maybe updates on what you are doing with the space/as you are decorating it, (probably short form) and a full house tour! If you would like to film more content about things you personally like, feel free too! I like that you break that 4th wall and keep it real. I love watching you create and I’ve learned so many cool tips from your channel (every time I see a wood slice or wood canvas I think of you & the Pinocchio coloring book video!). I love the shopping videos, collabs, dog & bf cameos, Disney trips, reviews/unboxing, etc. A fun idea for the new place would be customizing a side of your dream box! You could do it on removable wall paper so it wouldn’t be permanent. Maybe an orange bird theme? He’s my fave!

I hope your move goes smoothly! Like some other people are saying, don't feel pressured to always make high quality things! You could totally do like a "washing my dog 'artistically' " video and I would 100% watch it lol. We are here because of YOU. So anything you do, WE WILL WATCH IT!!! To answer what are ideas for future videos & editing......I am not helpful as over the years, I have not seen any that I didn't like. You are so talented in whatever you share with us & testing out products are both interesting & fun! I would love to see you setting up your new space and how you use the area. A idea you can do is do a house tour if you feel comfortable with it as well, see how you put your creative spin to the area your renting or showing us little DIYs on how to make sure you can have a amazing creative space without having to much messed up that the people you rent from would not be happy with. Again, this is all stuff that would be if you feel comfortable showing of course but it would be awesome to see. I know a couple artists friends who rent and they always say how hard it is to make a space their own when renting cause of the limitations put onto them by the owner but it would be amazing to see ways of making a space your own in that limitation.

Glad to see you again Chloe! :) I think a 3d art project for you could be something that would be really interesting. For example maybe set it up a little like a stage, your have the wall behind you, decorations to the side, and then your presentation desk in the middle. Maybe like a forest view so you could have storage behind the trees hidden since its 3d artwork. Good for you sweetie. I think a few big canvas drop clothes decorated with different vibes/ colors/ mediums... would be fun. Then you could just mount some way to hold them up on the wall and use them for backdrops that change depending on either your mood or the theme of your video. Some VERY basic ideas might be Seasonal, Potterverse, Specific Holidays, A City Scape, Mountains, Ocean... Whatever tickles your heart. Good luck with all your endeavors. I really enjoy the variety of your content but don't over do it. Your health and sanity have to come first.

Good luck, Chloe! I love watching RU-vidrs who show how they set up all the "behind the scenes" studio stuff, such as microphones, lights, etc. along with the stuff we see. Sometimes that is fun to watch without it being a "this is how to film for RU-vid" learning content... Just, kind of like, "this is how I set up my stuff, and I hope you all like how it looks on your end" kind of content. I hope that made sense. Like when you showed your couch and the different ways you moved it around and stuff. Of course, it's not RU-vid gold, but it is fun to add a bit of reality to what goes on behind the camera!

I would really love to see a video (or videos) documenting you setting up your new studio, once you've gotten to that point. Viewing other artists' studios - and especially learning WHY they have things set up the way they do - has always been immensely helpful to me in figuring out how to get my own studio under control. (It's generally in a perpetual state of chaos, alas. Tips would be appreciated!)

I personally like the videos from I watch regularly to be about 10 minutes long, plus or minus a couple minutes, especially if they are demonstrating how to do something..shorts are fun but I don’t think anything really sticks learning wise in a few seconds. Honestly, some of my favorite content is content you can art along with... if that makes sense. I sit and knit while Costuming Drama sews... sometimes I do the "just as the description says" videos Jazza does right alongside him... but I also do the therapy art alongside Andrea Nelson (she's on TT). I love coloring alongside Sarah Renae... or on the flipside... the super unobtainable art like the acrylic resin pours. I loved when you did the reverse colorbook... or back in the day when you played with Moriah Elizabeth's Create this Book 2 but I also loved the acrylic resin pour art projects and other big, extravagant art. I think you'll find the balance that works well for you.

id love to see your new studio and a video of you setting it up. maybe you could also do a studio tour before you move out? and maybe you could also paint something for your new studio? also do what makes you happy. can you do a video about bread? anything you want , a dramatic short featuring bread, lol. or a painting of bread? or watercolor if you have any.

Just so you know, you have my support and it is rude of other people to pry into someone else's business. You have the choice to share what you want or not. It should be fine for your fanvase who watch your videos to enjoy your talents and what you choose to share. ❤ I believe this is one of the main reasons I wouldn't feel comfortable making my own videos.

My husband and I love your videos and watch them all the way through. You make literally everything engaging and funny, but I most enjoy your videos on your creative process and watching you actually make art. Maybe you could do some videos with various art friends, maybe on a theme, where there’s a prompt, then you each go off to create, then show each other your work and explain why you chose what you chose. Like if the prompt was “joy,” that’s going to be really different for everyone in a way that says a lot about the artist, and because part of RU-vid is followers really liking creators as people, I think your audience might enjoy the “why” portion just as much as the painting/sculpting etc.
