Everyone should spend a bit of time in a cemetery every so often. It helps to reinforce the perspective that we're just temporarily passing through this world while on our journey home.
I really enjoy your videos. I live on the Georgia coast near St. Catherines Sound and I love the big tidal swings. I’m also happy that it is frustrating for visitors. I enjoy it being under developed and look forward for it to stay that way!
Brenton, when beaching in tidal waters you can either leave an anchor out in deep water to pull yourself back out or you can anchor a float and rig a pully to trolly the boat back in to board it, but send the boat out to the float when you are ashore. The second is better, the first is easier.
I used to walk my little Cricket in cemetery’s lol. Ussually had the places all to ourselves. Was a good place to let her run around free. She was a toy Pomeranian. All 4 pounds of her lol Love watching your videos!! Would love to have a shanty and travel around with it! Maybe someday but for now I will live vicariously thru you and Wavey Gravy lol
For that big cruiser who passed you so closely...I'd have been tempted to closely pass right next to him while he was grounded on the sandbar, just becasue I knew I could being in such a shallow draft boat. Yeah for shanty boats! Dog gone, I couldn't believe how close he passed you by. What was the reasoning behind that?? It's kinda like he was just being a bully or something. "Outta my way, Peck!" I cannot stomach needless agressive behavior. Well, you were both able to continue on your way and nothing and noone was harmed, so that's good. Happy and safe travels!
Very nice video ,, I tried to share your video with the lady of the house here and it wasn't enough to have an interesting guy in a beagle on a boat and she wanted the whole backstory and I will I've never heard he mentioned if he has kids or he was married or anything like that, so as much as I hate to intrude on a private man , you willing to put yourself out and do videos give me a little bravery to ask anyway you could give us a quick origin story sometime, your state you was born in and all of that you know nothing too in depth sad you was born under and I'm joking about that but anyway I thought if I could maybe give her an update she might start watching your videos with me,, you and wavy have a good day and thank you 😝🇺🇲
