Love Singapore. Not a city person, dont like concrete jungle, but have never felt that in Singapore. Love the way the trains are frequent and on time and its so easy to get around
Jack and Gab Explore I stay in Singapore been here several years. Depending on what you want to eat, drink, see, another words what do you want to experience? Are you adventurous in foods or beverages or something else?
Night life and tasting of good food in day time , it was so awesome. So proud of her being able to travel many places of interest. She must have spend alot of money for the tour and entertainment.
I love the foods in. Singapore is the best food in the world best place to live in. Singapore is very beautiful place very expensive now thank you for sharing your beautiful foodstuffs is very good .
Hello! Oh wow! Would you recommend Shangri-La to other travellers going to Singapore?? Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. We share a new video each Friday. Hope you a great start to the new week. Phoebe x
Little Grey Box The Shangri La is really beautiful and the staff super friendly. We had a junior suite but is was bigger than some other suites from hotels all over the world I've stayed in.
I love that you show Bedok and the East Coast in your vlogs, all the other vlogs I see, show just the Insta hotspots. Marina bay, Chinatown or sentosa. Love your stuff.
Hello! Thank you so much! I lived in Singapore for many years, my family still do. It has made me appreciate there's much more to Singapore than the well-known spots. Would love any great food or other local's only recommendations you might have for some videos we are planning :D Phoebe xx
My parents have lived there for 3.5 years now and we have spent a lot of time in Singapore. Most Vloggers don't take the time to see the less known gems in Signapore and only highlight the tourist traps. it is refreshing to see Singapore with a more off the beaten track feel. For instance the Video filmed at the skate park, we would walk past it almost every day to head down to the East Coast Hawkers Center. I haven't seen alot of your vlogs yet but have you done anything on Durian? Thanks.
Hey! Good to have an Aussie review of Singapore. I'm Australian myself, my mum was born in Singapore by chance so as you can imagine I want to see where my mum was born, looks like heaven. Xox
Oh that's so cool! Yeah, you absolutely have to visit :) No doubt you'll love it - it's a really cool place. I lived there for a few years and my family still do live there - it's like a second home to me. Thanks for watching, have a great day. Phoebe x (p.s new video coming out tomorrow night is a guide to Singapore's Changi Airport - might come in useful when you plan your trip.)
Hey when I was stressed at work I was thinking of things to do when I get home and you're vlogs was on top of my list of stress busters. There's something about you guys that I connect with more than Hollywood movies and overhyped RU-vidrs. Thanks ❤️
Oh my gosh... you have no idea how good it was to read your message. It meant so much to both Matt and I - we really appreciate you taking the time to come here and comment/share. I hope things at work have gotten less stressful for you - prolonged stress like that can be so tough! Glad our videos could offer some help :) hope you have a wonderful week ahead and thanks again - Phoebe xx

Some of my favourite foods to eat in Singapore are popiah, roti prata and masal dosai - oh gosh, even just thinking about it has my tummy rumbling! Hope you have a great time on your trip - Phoebe xx (p.s tag me in food photos/stories on IG haha I wanna live through you! @littlegreybox_phoebe)
That tour guide is from Monster Day Tours (my sister works there!). They do free walking tours but also do paid tours for a fee. In case people were wondering :)
@@travelforphoebe No worries! How he's like on the job is exactly how he's like in real life haha, but that's part of the fun of being a tour guide. Come back to Singapore soon!
I lived in Singapore and I loved this video! Its great that you go to so many places and see all that Singapore has to offer! Some people go to Singapore but don't get to see the blend of culture in SG. Great video!

I have been to Singapore many times over the years. It gets more expensive every time I go and combined with the weak AUD I don't buy beer anymore - I recommend drinking a Bandung.
We are a Canado Americano Australian family,we are planning to have a house in Singapore too for our business and to raise our kids in Singapore, thank you so much for all your videos.
For your info, Lau Pau Sat , the word Lau comes from the Mandarin word which means "Old". Pau Sat comes from the arabic word Bazaar. That's how Singaporean say "Market"

Hi Phoebe and Matt, as you go inside Lau pa Sat down the L/H side little curry place always a queue, the butter chicken curry is to die for. For next time 😋😋
Next time go to Keng Eng Kee seafood at 124 Bukit Merah lane 1 #01-136. Recommended food - chilli/pepper/salted egg crab, coffee pork ribs, cereal prawns, marmite chicken.
I know the spot and can confirm the fish head curry is incredible! I can’t eat seafood anymore but totally agree with you - awesome recommendation! Thanks for sharing and reminding me of it 😊🙌🏻

Oh gosh, she is perfection - I could never live up to that level of goddess-like wonder! haha thank you for the lovely words and for watching our video, we really appreciate it. Have a great weekend - Phoebe x
hahahaha an excellent question!! My go-to is to plait my hair into two dutch braids and get it nice and slick/secure with an argan-oil based hair gel. It keeps it off your neck and face so you're cooler throughout the day and keeps your hair perfect all day as well. On this trip, when it was out, I had put quite a bit of Schwarzkopf Extra Care Daily Oil Elixir in it + a little of the argan oil gel to smooth the frizzies on top. I make sure to blow dry the roots and when I'm done with using hot air I finish it off with cool to get all the humidity out of the roots and find that makes a huge difference! Also, I recommend not using a hair brush (if you have a hair type that allows for that). Instead, using a chunky tooth comb - it really cuts down on natural frizz and hair breakage for me. I hope these tips help! Phoebe xx
I wrote this guide a while back which should help littlegreybox.net/2018/03/13/the-best-and-worst-places-to-stay-in-singapore/ and there are loads more articles on our website about Singapore 😁
