Another awesome video from Ralph & Sam. Almost done with my roll of camera film. (Thank you two for being inspirational. I’m taking photographs again!!!)
I went back in May this year and went to almost all of the same spots as you guys! 🤣 you gotta try the salted egg crab at KEK next time, it’s the besttttttt
im going to singapore later in july and im so grateful for this video! so many yummy suggestions for food and cool looking places to wander around. love your videos!
Wow!!! Welcome to Sg! I must say I really enjoy your video. I have followed you from Tokyo to Sg. Your videos have this nostalgic cinematic feel. You capture each city and places with your styles without giving too much information yet, which is still informative. Anyway, thanks for sharing, looking forward to more of your travel vlog. God bless.
Hi Ralph & Sam, it was great meeting you both that day! You guys are such a nice and accommodating couple. I hope you enjoyed exploring Singapore! Good luck with your future videos - I'll be watching your vlogs! :)
It's been about the same length of time since my last visit to Singapore. My mom has gone back before I did lol. Love the upcycling workshop. gives me an idea what to do with all the company shirts I have haha.
Definitely going to try the make your own bag at the National Design Centre…Lau Pa Sat is always about the satay food coma 😂😂😂 can not wait to eat there again!
Was gonna recommend Cat Socrates (for obvious reasons 😸) from the previous vlog and am glad you guys went! Also that's a lot of food at Lau Pa Sat! Hope you were starving!
More popular hawker centres that locals go to are Old Airport Road, Tiong Bahru market, Chinatown Complex, Amoy, Bendemeer, and other heartland places...Lau Pat Sat is mostly tourists.
That’s not entirely true. This the only street selling satay near the sea front now. Years ago in the 1940s to later, Satay Club was selling satay at beach street near the coast before land reclamation. So don’t say it is a tourist spot when it a modern Singapore heritage spot. They later moved to the Esplanades area when I remembered it in the 1970s.
Hi. Have you been to Singapore recently? Actually I am planning to Singapore with family including kids. Can you please update the recent Covid situation there? It will of great help. Waiting for your reply.
We visited last month before the current surge. We'd recommend following their local news for updates on the situation if you are planning to travel soon. Stay safe! 🙏
