A Look at Fishborg Harpooner! (for Plunder, Ghoti, Atlantean, & Marincess) 

Man, I really like the plunder deck and I was very happy when I found your channel. Beautiful content.

In addition of the synergy with the plunder discard, it can be very strong with the Adventure package as well. So I guess that is something to keep in mind as well

I’ve been playing Icejade Ran Aegerine some of the time in Adventure Plunder, it discards a Water to summon itself (lvl 7 tuner) and a lvl 3 water token, and you’re locked into water only while it’s on field. I’ve been using that to make Chengying or Icejade Gymir Aegerine off discarding ideally a Water Enchantress or a Plunder that isn’t Whitebeard. While that doesn’t get the engine going, it gives some protection and 2 bodies in enchanted for 2 cards in hand, versus only 1 body that Harpooner gets you. Harpooner could still be good in other decks but I think that in Plunder Patroll it’s not gonna be as good as other existing cards, and we really don’t need the extra tuner 4.

I agree with you! The discarding part can really hurt. I'm a shark player myself, and lessening our hand is the opposite of what the deck does, which is extend... It can get out the extra starters of your hand (which usually happens), plus give Tuna more consistency as sharks need a water body on field and tuna looses it when ashed but... It is still expected as you say, even in sharks where the main starter locks you into xyz, so it really should be the first thing you do if you want to syncro! As for ghoti... Uf. I'd rather have a level two tuner SS, Keaf was perfect for that, we have plenty level fours... This one could be way better with a SS effect from the graveyard like Crystal Shark o the other Fishborg has tho, you'd not loose resources (imagine Lifeless sending from grave and him SS..it would instantly become best lifeless target!🤤). Even with the "banish it when it leaves the field" kind of perk, sharks would avoid it xyz summoning, and ghotis...well xD be my guest hahaha. I'll wait and see people mess around with it! Do we know rarity already?

It's not searchable but man it seems really interesting for plunder. Free special summon that works with goldie and white (even though Goldie doesn't allow synchro plays) is really nice.

Good video. I don't see this ever going in Marincess, there are better options and this is a neg 1 for the deck.

this card seems insane in runick ghoti (i dont think you mentioned that deck) maybe u should take a look at it

I want the Asian English Creation Pack 03 White Stingray 😅😅😅 its unbelievable beautiful cards... Asian English boosters have better Supers, Ultras, Secret Rares... They give lots of commons higher rarity finish 😤🔥 Definitely don't like that this Fishborg has no graveyard effects 😅 Why bother using its first effect unless maybe to only special summon it and then that other monster has a graveyard trigger
