The secret to a cost effective and environmentally friendly shave is a double edge safety razor and blade. Blade cost is .05 to .09 cents, lasts 5 shaves and no plastic. A decent razor can cost between $15 to $40 and can last a lifetime, no plastic. 100 blades and razor $25... done!

Another fantastic informative video! I almost didn’t watch it because I use a DE razor (and also I’m loving - for a quick daily shave - the one blade I bought from you recently!) however I always like to watch the videos and I have just passed this video on to a couple friends who I know cartridge razors - it’s a brilliant idea!

I actually use your bar of soap to rub onto the razor pit to strop my Gillette contour plus razor.

Have you seen new Muramasa Tatara Razors it’s not bad what they have done and done patent. Hi Alan, the lockdown and gyms being closed have meant I have no been as active as before but the gym I go to opens again in two weeks so I'll be back there three times weekly. Muramasa Tatara Razors - no I'll check them out, thanks for the tip! You too, stay safe! Brian

@@ExecutiveShaving Hi Brian Thanks for reply and that’s great to hear same here in Canada but I don’t go to gym I take it different way walking 45 min, Cycling and Diet among wet shaving to feel great 🪒💈and sometime glass of Whiskey..🥃😁. I have been doing the same trick with old jeans. You can even use your skin. It might not be as effective as this tool here but this extends the life of one cartridge to about 3 weeks to a month, at least for me. This can also make it very cost effective ;)

I've had a razorpit for 3 years and it is by far one of the best things I've ever purchased, opened up a 2nd pack of 4 blades I bought 'a while back' and realised the first four blades lasted 7 months.... close shaves every time. The lubricating strip above the blades ends up disintegrating before the razor blunts..... bloody unbelievable.
