We want you to get back to basics and turn shaving from a chore to a pleasure! That means no more shaving rash, ingrown hairs or endless nicks and cuts. Yes, they used to be called big jock & medium jock brushes, we changed the names to large synthetic and medium synthetic! We're so glad to hear yours is still going strong today 💪
What about wilkinson sword premium collection? its 20 bucks and seems good also im just 17 and need somerhing very safe because i can barely use a curtage razor withouth cutting myself
We don't stock Wilkinson Sword razors, just blades! The Muhle R89 would be a good option for you starting out with a safety razor - it's a mild yet effective razor. Try pairing it with a Personna or Tiger blade and just take your time while you learn how to properly use a safety razor! You can follow our tutorial where Robert shaves with the Muhle R89 too for some guidance: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t8Lqz3L2QLA.html
Hi Benjamin, we recommend massaging a couple of pumps of the pre shave oil into your face and then apply your shaving cream lather straight on top of that! Check out our most recent upload on our channel where we go into this in more detail ☺
We're so glad you enjoy using our pre-shave oil, thanks for your feedback 🙌 we have kept the price as low as we can while maintaining the high quality ingredients and packaging, and as you only need to use a small amount per shave, one 150ml bottle should last a relatively long time!
I plan to try using a safety razor as a last resort, but I’m concerned that the shaving cream will eventually clog the sink drain. (I know there’s a few solutions to lessen the chances of that happening, including a bowl of water or two… but where do you dump it out afterwards?)
You can rinse your lathering bowl under water where it will thin out and drain easily - this should not clog up your drain. Most of the lather you create will be used on the area you're shaving anyway, opt for not creating too much lather to begin with and whipping up some more should you need it.
Ok but how do you adjust the alignment when the pins are smaller than the holes in the blade. Is there a trick or am I just pushing on the blade edge with a q tip?
Both are equally as suitable for shaving with sensitive skin! The companion is more beginner friendly as there is less blade exposure making it safer to shave with, but both will provide a mild yet close and comfortable shave. It also largely depends on the type of blade you choose to use, given you have sensitive skin we would recommend trying a personna or tiger blade and see how these work with your skin!
An informative video, watched it out of curiosity and will definitely use some tips in the future. Safety razor definitely has got some learning curve to it. Modern razors forgive a lot of errors. Shaving along and against the grain is something intuitive, I figured out the temperature change by myself with opening/closing of pores and the blade, but this going across the grain and using an additional razor for the cleanest shave is very interesting - definitely will buy one, as I still got rashes sometimes and ingrown hairs are a pain :) Thanks for this! Cheers

Would like to win - always looking for new products since beginning DE safety shaving in 2023. Next video? Maybe begin some customer on products from different parts of the world to see what’s new to promote?
After my Timor razor broke I decided to upgrade to the outlaw it wasn't for me and kept bleeding all the time and brought me out in blotches I tried different blades and the alum block had major razor burn with the outlaw message for advice and ended up buying the Muhle R89 head for the outlaw handle haven't had an issue since I must have very sensitive skin
Thanks for sharing your experience with the Timor, Outlaw & Muhle R89. It definitely sounds like you're skin is pretty sensitive, we're delighted we could help you find a razor that works well for you 🙏
I'm a new subscriber to your channel because I'm new to shaving with a DE Safety Razor. I found you looking for recommendations for the best razors for beginners. Love the channel! Since I've been shopping around, I'm amazed at the price ranges I see. I see positive reviews for razors that cost from $30 to $900. I would love to see a video explaining the difference between the low end, like the Parker 78R, and the high end, like the Tedalus Velocit-One, when it comes to shave quality. I know you're getting better (fancier) materials for that much more money but does it really make that much difference to the quality of the shave? Just curious, and would love to hear some "experts" comment on it.
I can tell y'all how I learned to use one. Basically, I just cut myself every time I shaved for like 2 yrs until I worked it out. I, uh, can't *recommend* the technique, but it did get me there. I recently discovered that the hotter the water you rest the razor in, the better. I boil water and put it in a little basin to shave with now and it *really* helps.
