I like the look of these, perfect for my trip to Haut-Languedoc this autumn. I need to change my boots this year so I'll pay you guys a visit next time I'm passing. Thank for sharing.
What a fantastic video. Great footwear and great competition. Perfect pair of boots for my next hill walk for the brecon beacons and pen y fan. Good luck everyone.
Me and my brothers are all wanting to travel up and down the country with our sons and daughters so these would be a massive help for me on our great outdoor adventures 🍀🥾❤️
Look like the perfect walking boot for my trip to the Dolomites later in the year, which I am so excited about and can't wait for (without wishing my life away!!!)
With trips planned to the Lake District, Peak District and Yorkshire Dales this year, these boots would be the ideal travelling companion to get me up hill and down dale.
I always like the extra support on the boot as opposed to the shoe. They look and sound a nice lightweight boot and waterproofing is always a bonus, I hate hiking with wet feet. I love a great grip, as it makes me feel so much more secure especially when I am solo hiking at my age. Although my perfect size in 10.5, I always get a size 11 as my feet tend to swell on a long hike. I do the majority oh my hiking in the Lake District and although I have done Scafell Pike several times, I have never done Scafell, so that is where I would take those boots in the summer, cheers Alan
They look good and you make them sound great. My New Years resolution is to complete some walks in this country (low carbon) and starting local, those would be perfect to do the Dartmoor Way in.
Yours are the only boots that ever fit my unusual shape feet and have taken me to hundreds of peaks. Can’t fault your footwear. Looking forward to trying the TX5!
Great brand and great review. Look like a very sturdy boot. They would be ideal for my many long walks on and around Dartmoor or along the SWCP and look smart in the pub afterwards to boot🥾😊
Only recently discovered your channel after buying a tent from you this week. Great looking footwear. I'd break them in on the hills around home in North Wales before taking them to Eastern Europe later in the year.
They look great, I would use them to walk over the Wetterstein range in southern Germany this summer and also all over Dartmoor for day walks with my family and overnight wildcamps 😊
These look ideal for my next trip to Torridon in the summer to climb my favourite mountain Slioch, and perfect to do the Fisherfield six safely and comfortably.
They seem amazing! I’d take them on Via Transilvanica this summer. It’s the longest continuous hiking path in my country, Romania, at almost 785 miles. The tx5 boot i think would be fenomenal for the trip.
The TX5 boots are fantastically designed and an innovative concept, supporting a variety of walking activities. Not only are they light in weight, they're rugged and will withstand all terrains. They support the feet firmly but remain a comfort to wear all day long. I would love to win a new pair of TX5 boots to continue my South West Coastpath walk this year. It would be great to complete the walk in Poole in such great TX5 style!
There is so much UK to explore still. These sound and look like they'd cover all of it! I'd walk the South West coastal path as well as The Ridgeway and really put the waterproofing and grippy sole to the test!
Be great to grab some boots as I love my La Sportive approach shoes! These would be used day in day out where I live hiking the hills in the Lake District, for trips we have planned in the Cairngorms, roaming the glorious gabbro of Skye and then heading abroad on some long multi-week trips too... they will be well worked!!!
Nice review, I'm actually in the process of trying to find a pair that will be great and last me. I'd use them everywhere! Isle of Skye, nice long hikes and even to the pub 😂
If lucky enough to win a pair of these sturdy looking La Sportiva TX5's I'd venture far and wide across our fair Ilse, from Kernow to Glen Coe then Pembrokeshire to Norfolk and many counties betwixt , in big thick socks, preferably in size 46 , cheers Taunton Leisure for sharing your treasure . A pleasure indeed .
I've had Sportiva's in the past and they were great boots, lasted me years and years. These TX4 shoes and TX5 trainers look really good with lots of features such as the 360° rubber rand
I love La sportiva stuff and if I won I would take this boot to the alps this summer and also to Sweden as a reward for finishing my degree :) great video
I think that the TX5 would be the most ideal shoe for my trip to do the Tour De Mont Blanc this year, as well as a perfect day to day mountain shoe for me up in Scotland. And for future trips to Italy with the dolomite in mind, or adventurous trails they would be super Ideal!
These would be amazing right now! I'm in need of some new boots after pushing my last ones through the last few years of university. I would take these out on the Ring of Steall as soon as I could get up there!
Sportiva's are fantastic - best climbing shoes I've ever owned! The TX5's would see year round action trekking all around the Brecon Beacons, and walk in's to some hilly muddy rock climbs... I'm also currently looking for a new bit so these would be perfect! 🤞
Both models look great, and if I were to win I would take them on my regular walks in and around the UK from the Chilterns, Dartmoor to the Peak District and beyond.
Congratulations Emmy, we are excited to announce that you are the winner of our latest La Sportiva Competition! If you can email me at shazell@tauntonleisure.com we will get you sorted out for your upcoming trip.
I’ve only ever heard good things about these and they’d be perfect for when I go to the Lake District I want to get about and about and explore and great
Southern Upland Way, Tramontana Mountains in Majorca, and some Monroes around Loch Fyne... variable terrain, variable wetness, some with backpack load, some day hikes. The hybrid nature of these boots would seem to cover all bases.
Thanks for the video. These look like a good option to replace my old, heavy and cracked Brashers. If I'm lucky enough to win I'll take them on my planned trip to the East coast of Yorkshire and locally in the Peak District.
I have been recommended this brand as being a perfect fit for my feet. I am getting back into walking after a year’s treatment for breast cancer and need some good boots to get me out there. I previously walked the Camino de Santiago and would like to return, when my fitness is back, and walk an alternative route.
