I've always felt that TMZ is a cancer. It's not news, it's gossip, and 95% of the time, there's no truth to what they say. Video games get the lion share of the blame too and this is evident from the Sandy Hook shooting where the media was like "Oh, the shooter played a lot of Call of Duty and Dynasty Warriors, therefore he's a killer." Same thing with the more recent Washington Naval Base shooting back in September where somehow GTA was relevant. This TMZ thing is another example of the media looking for a quick answer to a more complicated problem. What about the state of mental health awareness and research?
