If you regularly visit Puerto Pollensa on holiday, tell me what you love about the resort. Also, don't forget to subscribe to my channel and join me over in the Facebook group where the conversation continues facebook.com/groups/mallorcaunderthesun
Thank you again Alex!....I loved the market and the fresh produce that they sell there...it is now a must for me to visit. Again as always, I love your videos full of sunshine with a soothing voice!...cheers!
Thanks so much Tommy - I hear it's really cold over there already! It's been a grim day here today too if that's any consolation...although the sun did come out just before it went down!
Wow that video brought me right back to our amazing holiday last June 2020. On the strength of your video we have rebooked for marsenses for July for next year. Thank you so much ..you are providing an invaluable service to us brits...keep up the great work 👏
Hi Alex, It's nice to have a market that has fresh produce in season and sells handmade products. So much easier to be environmentally friendly when you have a market to support.
Alexandra, thank you so much for this video! It felt so much like home from how you presented it, that it made me cry. We are planning to move to Mallorca and your videos are our main guide to finding the place we want to live at. We so LOVE your amazing videos! Thank you for showing us around! :) Judith
Thanks Alex for another great video. Puerto Pollensa as you show in your video is yet another beautiful area of Mallorca - lost count how many times we've walked up and down pine walk.
Hi Faith - I absolutely love it too. Such a pretty place - especially on a sunny day! We look forward to welcoming you next year - the season seems so far away but I'm hoping winter will fly by!
Great video, Alex. Puerto Pollenca is like our second home. It really is the most perfect resort for a Mallorca holiday. We lived here for a couple of years from 2005 and have some lovely memories of the place. Also, anyone staying here should hop over to the other side of the mountains to Cala Sant Vicente to experience a different kind of Mallorca. (If you're adventurous and fairly fit you can hike across the mountains in about an hour or two). Desperate for the Mallorcan government to open up La Fortelaza which is the massive property right after the military base here in the Port. It would be a massive coup for any vlogger to get access to there. One day Alex, maybe?
Thanks so much Chris - great to hear from you! The hike sounds like a great idea - might have to do that! And thanks for the tip off to about La Fortaleza..will keep my eyes peeled for that! :)
Thank you Chris for sharing your experience and tips. How was it living in Puerto Pollenca? What did you like about it the most? We are looking to move to Mallorca, just trying to figure out where, and Puerto Pollenca is one of our top favourites. Thank you! Judith :)
@@JH-dj2of Hi Judith, thanks for the message. Puerto Pollenca is a lovely place to holiday and we did enjoy living there although it was tough trying to make ends meet. In hindsight, we would probably have done things different and to be honest you would probably fare better living somewhere like Palmanova. PP is very quiet in the winter and it can feel quite isolated. Palmanova is near to Palma which has activity pretty much all year round. The thing I liked the most about PP was the accesibility to nature and some lovely walks. The road along the bay between PP and Alcudia is my favourite piece of road in the whole world - it's so stunning and never gets tiring. I love the passeo and the pine walk; there's tons of lovely bars cafés and restaurants. However, beware, go a couple of streets back and the town can look very tired, is plagued with graffitti and there's lots of 'Se Vende' signs. It does have charm though, and if you fall in love with the place like we did, you'll see past all this. Hope this helps?
So love Pollensa, never tire of watching it on Video, wish I was there. We did live in Crestatx for 9 months and loved going to Pollensa , Alcudia and surrounding areas. I get very excited whenever I see Videos of these places. Thanks Alex, it was superb. x
Super video Alex! The market is great, we always enjoy a 'wander' around it. We ate in a gorgeous Indian on the square where the market is held - Cardamom City Indian, would recommend to anyone staying in PP. Look forward to the next one........thanks again!
I love Indian, so especially over the winter now the temperature has dropped (quite significantly today actually!) , if you guys recommend this restaurant, I think it is only right I go and check it out... purely for research purposes of course 😜😋😀
Thanks Claire! Definitely worth jumping on the bus from Can Pic! You're in a great spot to get out and about there and have an amazing beach break too!
Hi Alex ,looks lovely there ,weather gorgeous compared to where I am ..North Germany about an hour south of Hamburg... I am enjoying all your videos they are always informative. Could you maybe do a short video on Language schools on Mallorca and maybe find something out about "Host families" too. That would be good for people wanting to learn Spanish and also enjoy the beautiful Island too. bye for now ,stay safe and take care in these strange covid times..
Hi Brian great to hear from you thank you for your support ! That’s a great idea for a video - I’ll give it some thought and do some research ! But it would be a nice one for winter ! 👍🏻
Port de Pollença is my happy place :) I love going here with my family and going out and eating on the beaches! Especially this restaurant which idk how it’s spelt ( pronounced “la-lon-ya” ) we love it
Thanks Alex, fantastic place, when you go again go and have a look at the coral bar, a family have owned it for decades, best restaurant in Puerto Pollensa. They are on Facebook. X
If you walk along pine walk towards illior dior hotel, when you come to where the pedal boats are turn left up the street and you will see it on the left.
