Im pretty sure the faceless NPCs are following a similar style used in animes where unimportant or placemaker background characters are either faceless or even detailless figures. It saves on animation costs and means there's no confusion of who is potentially an important NPC.

Wow! This is exactly what I've been lookin for for farming games :D They're all pixels now, so seeing 3D, and more in person than Coral Island, is great!

Just a heads up, the devs have since implemented a save system for the demo so if you were apprehensive about playing it longer than you did here because you were afraid of losing your progress and having to start over each time between streams, that is no longer the case. Personally, I would love to see a playthrough of all 10 days the demo allows for here on your channel.

I've had this on my wishlist for 4 years. It was a basic farming systems game then. I was wondering what was happening with this. It's nice to see the game graphics fleshed out now, and it looks absolutely lovely! It was the fact that it was set in a modern setting (when all the other farming sims at the time were older style) and looked to have potential for such original gameplay (as farming games go) that had me interested 4 years ago. And the shops and the things for sale look modern instead of just 'gamified'. And the town is so big - before it was only a couple shops. Nice! But why the America cowboy song on a Japanese game?!?! It just does NOT fit at all. If I play a Japanese game, I want the music style to suit to the game! Not just some random American cowboy song in a Japanese game because it mentions the word, "countryside". It's just really weird... Not impressed with the intro music at all. It just doesn't work with the game!! 😖 I hope the songs in the record shop are more suitable... The ambient music is lovely, so calming and relaxing.
