I can easily say this is one of THE most beautiful houses I have ever seen. It is stylish, cozy, elegant, timeless and has a fabulous connection to light and nature which is absolutely crucial. I also love that it is not huge, it is just, well, perfect.
Interesting to see so many italian expatriate architects working in Australia. The architectural and construction standards seem to be the best in the world. Absolutely amazing.
Its really curious that that’s the case. I’ve only now begun delving into it, but it was immediately clear that this is one of the premier architectural hotspots in all of the world. So inspirational and interesting to say the least. Go check out cove house I think it’s called, or the zig zag house, bunkeren, or eagles nest. Some of my absolute favorites on this channel. All stunning.
Luigi! If he’s involved things are going to be unreal. The marble around the stove is incredible. This channel never disappoints, and the production value increases with every video lately I swear. Ty LP build🏡😌☕️
I like the size of this house, it's intimate and exquisitely furnished. Intimacy is something that seems lost with many of the large concrete structures on this channel which don't feel like homes in my opinion. There's value in being closer to the details of a home and being able to appreciate in its entirety. Whilst there's luxury in having space and ceiling height, some of these homes are just large because their wealth affords it, which loses the feeling of a building feeling like a home... In my opinion of course.
Beautifully said. I've cleaned houses like that and the sound bounces around the space. This house is "right sized" and keeps it's wonderful garden as well.
If I had money I would choose this architect to design my house. I have seen many of his houses on Archdaily and he never stops to amaze me. he has always some kind of sensibility that translates into something that is aking to a piece of art...
Was introduced to this house and to Luigi Rosselli through Arent & Pyke and this house never ceases to impress me. The pink is what I love most. I love how this interview exposes the intimacy between the architect and the design. It makes me want to be better as an architect. I'm truly inspired
I had to watch this video twice because it’s just too beautiful. There are a lot of exquisite details I don’t want to miss. The house is modest and at the same time, timeless. I envy the couple/family who lives in this lovely home. :)
This house seems to provide all that is comfortably needed with thoughtful design and tasteful choices, homes dont need to be mansions to be impressive, this house appears to be the perfect home, i like this guys explanation of his thought process without sounding like he's swallowed a dictionary like most do when explaining
What a beautiful balance between the old and the new- the incorporation original materials and features has been handled creatively and intelligently. This house is a work of art, whereas many of the housed featured here feel like souless extensions of the client's ego and wealth.
Absolutely beautiful. The mix of modern and romantic is spot-on. I love how they incorporated the roof tiles and old materials. This house makes me rethink my attraction to the super minimal look. Just stunning.
Love the intimate calm of the house. Love the palette - both color and material. Love the proportions. Love the fluidity of the spaces. Love the way that light seems to be a guest in the interiors. Love the sereneness. Just love. Thank you Luigi, thank you TLP.
It’s really obvious lately when you’re viewing a house by an experienced architect compared to a younger one (or even compared to a house that the owners have designed). I feel like what stands out is personality, playfulness and warmth. Not the standard white cartel house that everyone is going for right now. This house is just beautiful. Well done to the architect!
Love the look and feel of this place! The backyard is nicely landscaped and feels like an oasis. The color of the materials used in the kitchen (like the marble backsplash) compliment each other perfectly. Really amazing house!
One of the lovliest houses I have seen on this channel.. so delicate and gives such a sense of warmth. It almost feels like it could not have been planned.. like it just was created organically somehow.
I Love this! Victorian has always been a fav. of mine. What you did with this home is Marvelous. I would wish to have one just like it~ I'm in USA; have you ever designed & built in USA? Thank you for posting these videos, I enjoy each & every one of them~
Perfect combination of the new and old. Easily top 3 of all projects on this channel. The colours, the shapes, the integration of the outdoors, absolutely stunning! Thanks for bringing these fantastic videos!
I have watched many of these videos on The Local Project, this house is one of my favourites. I can see myself living in there. I love all the textures, light and colour.
Beautiful! I love these kinds of houses that have these personal touches and well-thought-out finishes that match the original house rather than an architect that just wanna "flex his architectural muscles". Bravissimo Luigi!
It's not a house, it's a moment in time. The natural flow of different accents throughout is lovely, especially the kitchen area ✨. It's so serene, i can almost imagine someone standing there and enjoying wine while the Beauty itself takes them to another universe. In love ✨
The opening scene is quite captivating with the view of the kitchen as natural light streams through. I can imagine how wonderful it must be to cook there. The curve of the stairs is beautiful. It's a wonderful design.
A truly beautiful house which successfully unites the old and new. I love how homely it feels unlike a lot of houses featured on this channel which are more like museums. I adore the Brise Soleil, the way it gives privacy but still allows loads of light to come through, very clever use of the old roof tiles. So many other feature I love. Will definitely save this one to my favourites as I want to watch it again and again.
