How did they call this a class 3, a lot of trails and bike paths are class 1 or 2 only.. but I believe it would be fully legal in a bike lane. I'm about to buy one like this in my other country, costs about $250 US dollars... Even has a keyless system with alarm.
Mo ( motorized ) ped ( pedal)... no pedals is then a scooter....which requires some kind of tags or registration...and a license in scooters over 49cc on a gas powered bike. That's most places in America where there are authorities that even bother....the electric bike industry is pushing into speeds that will cause restrictions in the near future.....just because there is pedals doesn't mean they are going to get away with high speed bikes or selling what is essentially a scooter as a bike.
