As you walk through fields this summer, you might see a flying insect that looks like a butterfly with black wings. Watch for awhile, and it will probably land, offering you a better view. Look for orange around it's head and a bluish black body, and you have discovered the Virginia Ctenucha moth, a day flying moth that's an important pollinator.
