i got huma external regs ,you can use the ext reg also to find what a unregulated gun likes best ,before building a internal regulator in . and set it at the pressure found

@@ShootingTargets727 yep. Unlikey of getting a bell curve with a high power pcp like a condor or Texan. It'll drop straight down from the first shot depending on the weight of the pellet. Usually the inbuilt regs rob some power but the inline regs can be setup exactly at the sweet spot which is great if you know where that is in your condor.
Now I'm wondering... Would it be possible to get rid of the built on air tank, plug the hole where that tank would've been and just shoot right from the big tank permanently?
I have a second tank that I pressurize to rifle fill pressure and tether to the rifle. Still a bell curve but results are much better than shooting just off of the internal bottle on my .308 Texan. My tethering bottle is a 30 min SCBA and my main is a 45 min SCBA. It works pretty well for about 30+ shots at 100 yds and maybe 15-20 at 200 yards. Then the 30 min bottle must be refilled from the 45 min bottle. I will get a external reg at some point. So how well does it work? Home cast 120 grn slugs at 960-965 fps will group about 2 MOA at 100 yds. On a good day, it will print right at 1 MOA at 100 yds if using weight sorted slugs. The 2 MOA is in wind for a group of 10 @ 100 yards. @@mohba01 - Lee lists the BC at .163. So maybe .173 is a little high. But I calculated the BC using my labradar velocity data so it is what the unit provided as muzzle velocity and velocity at 100 yards. What do you believe is the correct BC value?
@@mohba01 - .173 in my ballistics app puts hits on at 200 yds. The .010 difference might make a difference further out but seems to be within natural variation for me & my rifle at 200 yds & closer. But if I stretch it further I’ll re-evaluate. Thanks for your input.
