@@AccessAnimus I think it's just to keep it consistent, like with Da Vinci's disapperence in Brotherhood, if you start it before you finish the main story, you'll get email from William, if you do it after the main story, you'll get dialogue about Desmond going into some sort of shock (or something like that I don't remember exactly what was said in it) while he is in a coma.

@@chrismoore5333 Eh, I mean Aya was supposed to be the main character but was changed to Bayek because Unisoft didn't like a female lead for whatever reason. Kassandra was definitely better than Alexios as protagonist but male Eivor was a lot better.

That's actually a good theory. It's highly likely they'll do a crossover with origins, they already basically teased the fact that Kassandra went to Egypt at some point, probably a lot given her kid was there and she could check back every generation and we know she interacts with the Hidden Ones (founded by her descendant Aya and her husband Bayek). So I'd be SHOCKED if we didn't get an Origins crossover. The question is, would it be a cross over with Odyssey (which takes place before Origins and seems to be done since it had the credits roll finally) or with Valhalla, two games that both have Roman plotlines/mysteries/structures present. If they go with this, playing the Origins end would be like maybe in Sicily (and look a lot like what we saw in the video) and include Bayek (or maybe Aya) and Kassandra and some artifact the Roman Empire finds that later ends up in England. The Roman plot line in the Tombs of the Fallen might tie in, perhaps. Origins is interesting too since the game actively has assets for Roman legionaries and architecture, plus there's already a playable character model for Aya so there's a lot of unique possibilities they can do narratively with Origins. If I'm remembering my history right, England get's conquered by Rome starting in 44 AD, so roughly 80 years after the events of origins? Maybe Kassandra leaves Aya as the keeper of whatever artifact Rome/Order of the Ancients is after and it's after she dies decades later that it eventually finds it's way into the Roman war machine. Anyhow, lots of cool things they could do.

It is pretty cool if you think about it throughout every single assassin's Creed game Kassandra has been there but we never see her until Valhalla and a little in origins but it's so trippy

If they did a crossover in Italy, with kassandra walking by Ezio as he was dieing, I think I would cry real adult tears.

What if the next crossover event is in Italy and Kassandra meets Ezio?! This could be a turning point in the modern day story setting too. The AC universe has dealt with elements of time travel. What if Desmond is seeing all of this while in contact with an Isu Artifact? That leaves two distinct events: 1. Right before Desmond kills Lucy in the Isu Ruins (AC Brotherhood) and 2. When Desmond saves the world from the solar flares. I prefer option one because he can spare Lucy and knock her out. This would bring about a new timeline. Option 2 would also bring about a new timeline, but one Ubisoft briefly shows us, Desmond becomes a prophet and history repeats itself. Again option 1 would be the best because we’d have no idea what would happen. Would we have choices on which side to align with (Assassin or Templar), or would Ubisoft give us a new road to discover? A road where Desmond never dies and Layla is never the protagonist.

Because eivor isn't Odin like you said he is the reincarnation of Odin he is still human and no human can hold the apple but we will get the new Ragnarok dlc for Valhalla so that will prove if he does have the power or not

I also think it's pretty weird to release this this way and to release it now, espectially with the mysterious voice and Layla's line. It would have worked perfectly *before* the crossover, but posting it now? If it's to just tease the old crossover it's pretty strange. Otherwise, if it's about something in the future... that's a whole different story - Markuz

@@ezio_k Maybe that's part of the message! Hinting at a cross over where Kassandra meets Ezio? I mean, having a character live thro 2300 years of history and literally every other games timeline leaves a LOT of room for crossovers.

Shes kinda dead but not exactly if she got the cloak from AC Syndicate or the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus she could fully heal all damage to her body and return to it so yes it is possible for Layla to return to the flesh because her mind is currently in the Yggdrasil

@@daltonpage1319 I doubt Layla could be saved. The Reader told her about the radiation that would kill her if she remained connected to the device for too long without the help of the Staff. The device itself was keeping Basim alive all this time, but when Layla released him, she, I think, deactivated the device, therefore Yggdrasil can’t keep her body alive anymore, like it did with Basim’s. And if the body’s dead for quite a long period of time, neither the Staff of Hermes, nor the Shrouds of Eden (both known Shrouds are destroyed now, btw) could bring it back to life.

As much as i would adore it, i really wouldnt hold your breath for more odyssey content, the crossover event tied it up quite well that it wouldnt really make sense to add more content to greece. :)

I think that is part of the message, it's not like there's been half a dozen Assassins creed games set in Italy or anything, including one of the most beloved characters of the franchise AND the current gen of games has a game with a segment in Rome. Literally get to play as Aya (Kassandra's descendent) during the assassination of Caesar, all the technical assets for the crossover are already in Origins, this wouldn't be like trying to add a new DLC a decade later to Brotherhood. My money is on a new Origins crossover expansion, probably with Aya and set in Italy. The model assets for say Sicily would look more than a bit like the models for Greece, they could totally do this from a technical standpoint.

Bom...o Twitter do Assassin's Creed da Itália postou um vídeo no qual mostra imagens de lugares da Grécia, Noruega e Inglaterra, e ao fundo é possível escutar frases ditas pela Eivor, e da Layla. O mais importante é que a frase dita pela Layla indica que ela está surpresa por causa da Kassandra. Também existe a possibilidade dela estar surpresa por estar vendo isso através da Yggdrasil. Basicamente é isso.
