A NARCISSIST'S WORST NIGHTMARE

#narcissist #narcissisticabuse Narcissists don't emotionally react to things in the some ways that most people do. Their worst nightmares don't seem to make sense when viewed through a more normal perspective. Understanding what they care about can help us navigate through the process of healing and establishing boundaries.

Please don’t attempt to expose/win against/destroy a narcisist unless you know Exactly what you are doing. Just move away from them and patiently watch them destroying their own life…

After many years I finally blocked my ex. Our children are old enough now that I don’t need to speak to her. She was still hoovering, manipulating, and showing me just how selfish, entitled and delusional she is. Im done. Now after 22 years I can start healing and start a new life.

So essentially how you are made to feel being around them for lengths of time, is how they feel on the daily. Another form of projection on a deeper level.

Or how about if a narcissist is stuck in a room with all their ex's? They will know they have compared notes that they see who the narcissist really is and they will see the collateral damage this person has done. Sort of like storming, Frankenstein's Castle, and going after the monster.

A piece of paper doesn't make someone an expect. Life experience does. You're an expert! As far as narcissistic, they need people around them to people,please and feed their ego. While they treat you like a door mat. Narcissiam, is a disease. The twist is, they don't get sick from this disease, you do !

I moved away for good. All of a sudden my narc friend didn't have his reliable supply anymore. When we contacted a couple of years later, he went through the "Narc Collapse" thing. I see it clearly now. This video sums up that phenomenon very well.

Lol, my idea of heaven is exactly what a narcs worst nightmare is.... lmfao!!! If i can remain invisible to the world as an observer... that's just so freeing. I like being the fact that I am irrelevant. Space dust. There is a spiritual cleansing experience in just not caring if others see you or not. Narcs CANNOT FATHOM THIS. 😊

Yes I resonate with that! It’s the ultimate relinquishing of control.🥹 Sometimes it hurts when people shun or ignore you, but you realize in the end none of it matters. It’s just life playing out how it will

They are so fixed in their beliefs that they would either feel as victim or as “know it all “ and devalue anything you may confront them with. I had two serious relationships , one was speech pathologist and other with an RN , and both turned out to be my worst nightmares . Is there some study showing that these narcissists may gravitate towards such professions to feel needed ?
@LookingBehindtheMirror
@LookingBehindtheMirror Год назад
I’m not aware of any studies that show that, but it makes sense for some of them to gravitate towards a job that makes them feel important or gives them control over other people.

Maybe to feel needed but they also feel that it puts them in the superior position. They can also more easily hide out there. After all, who would suspect a counselor or minister of being a narcissist? But don't be misled. They are everywhere.

Good video of priceless shared experiences. Perhaps even in a room with some attention, the narcissists insatiable need will still feel lack. Living in a mental world that is unable to be comprehended by people with any empathy, any compassion, any true ability to have positive relationship impact. I know this from observation. Any short respite of supply satisfaction is extinguished at the next thought of lack. And number one lack is the consistent revolving door of supply people. Even with designer everything, validation automobiles, even a unhealthy obsession with cleanliness. Bear with me, I'm a clean nut, heck I even subscribe to a channel on cleaning. But life's amenities are meant to be used, cleaning can wait till the next day or the next. It will get done. Point is obsessive compulsion. Maybe they are trying to "claan" the internal filth away through external means. You have to live their way or you are passive aggressively less than. The longer you subjugate yourself, the longer the deprogramming will take. But once you reach that pinnacle moment where your idolization becomes utter non returnable disgust, you have now reassure control of your life. They didn't kill being kind, they didn't kill patience, they didn't kill empathy for someone I dont even know or met. Ive thought how would I feel if they were physically hurt or passed away. I would feel bad....at a distance. Thank goodness she didn't steal me. ( sry...had a rant spurt )

I think it would be extremely disturbing to anyone to be around a bunch of people who couldn’t hear or see you- Have you ever been shunned? But I know what you mean…. For a narcissist that would be like being in a room full of food you couldn’t eat.

I wonder if narcissists would ever have the desire to change their ways if they actually knew what they really looked like to the normal person…like how we describe them..the way they are..if they knew how moronic they really look by being themselves
@LookingBehindtheMirror
@LookingBehindtheMirror Год назад
That would require them to consider the perspective of other people. They really aren’t trying to prove anything to other people because they don’t recognize the existence of another’s perspective. They’re trying to prove things to themselves.

My ex GF had what I would call, social anxiety, where she would be triggered in a social setting. I think it was because she was not being paid attention to. In retrospect, I should have stayed right by her side to make sure she would be getting attention at least from me. I would forget, because sometimes at a party there are moments when you are alone and not talking to anyone. I always had to be on my toes to makes sure she was okay. She would, in instant, angrily walk right out and walk home, it happened a bunch of times. Just getting her to go was hard. What are they serving, who will be there, how long will it be? It was endless controlling stuff, and then, often a meltdown/tantrum of epic proportions, her sleeping on the couch, as if it was my fault.
@ellie_j.
@ellie_j. 8 месяцев назад
I feel bad for your ex girlfriend, actually! Except for the tantrums part. It is never acceptable for an adult to throw tantrums. Parties are not for everyone. It is to many a cocktail of social anxiety, sensory overload and debilitating pressure to "fit in". Some people enjoy the crowd and the noise, some like to stay to themselves and enjoy peace and quiet. Since you mentioned she is now your ex girlfriend, I hope you both have found happiness with compatible people who enjoy similar interests!
