And the guy was right to think about it! If Rampage would adjust his play he could rake in a LOT of value. But he has to actually stop doing things like playing QTos out of position. Right now he doesn't seem able to stop himself. It is really concerning.

If he would play GTO he would understand that there is a balance, that you do something a percentage of the time with a certain range of hands and something else another percentage of the time. It looks like he's doing the same things 100% of the time. So okay maybe he's playing exploitative, but the biggest danger is that if you're not doing that well enough, you'll become the exploited one.

⁠there is GTO play and exploitative play...except sometimes gto doesn't apply in many circumstances because of the player pool. The player pool determines these frequencies. People these days kill me when they are involved in a precarious spot and then immediately go to the gto tables to prove they did the right thing...except in a player pool where hardly anyone understands gto this doesn't apply. The tendencies of people playing 1/3 are wildly different than 5/10.

Feel the same way... i feel like people who lose the value of money, the story always ends bad for them. I made a great investment a couple of years ago that turned $12,500 to nearly $125k in a few months.... i didnt have an exit strategy and thought things would last forever and i basically only broke even.... And all i think ab sometimes is how easy i couldve had it (not that 125k is INCREDIBLE money) but i know having that in the bank plus my job would really make life pretty easy for the life i lead.... Instead im just working and wishing i had 125k. If this dude would realize he needs to bank the 1st milly and then build it again he would be ok, but hes just gambling and there wont be anything at the end and he will long for what he had and lost.

Was subscribed from almost the beginning of Rampage poker. It was like watching a Young lad winning and having fun. Now it's like watching someone who's in over their head, trying to stay afloat and struggling mentally 🙈😩 keep strong champ, support from Scotland 💯 I would say you need to change up your game, disappear for a month or 2 with a group of next level poker coaches and come back stronger 🔥👍🏼

We all know the sequel will be road to 2 Million , you are just going to dig yourself into a deeper hole. I have concluded as have most others who have watched you play since the start that you don't have the discipline to adjust your game . No surprise as you do have a true gambling addiction. I know the stories of other pros who went bust and came back and then went bust again , The ones that were fortunate to come back the first time made some major changes so they would not go bust again .

You’re chasing action trying to win every pot and have cultivated a loose image getting called wide in a lot of spots. The only way you’re going to start winning again is to play tighter both pre and post flop making hands and letting action come to you. It’s a simple concept, put more money in the pot when you believe you have the winning hand. Get to showdowns in large pots with strong hands, that way your image will allow you to bluff in certain situations. Ethan is playing desperate trying to catch up to his losses and entertain viewers with a bunch of big pots. If he played fundamentally sound poker, he would win consistently whether or not the deck slaps him in the face

the hand i found funny was i think the stream was showing better equity than he actually had.... When he had the J high flush on the all spade flop against the top pair aces and no spade.... it said he had 44%.... basically just any spade 9 outs 2 streets is like 36% not 44

I see a lot of comments that may be a bit over the top, but that does not mean there is no truth to them. I started watching your streams mostly because I really like poker, but also to see you grow into a good pro poker player. I've played poker for over 40 years and I had a friend tell me early on that the basic difference between a true pro poker player and a wanna be is that the true poker player can make bets, calls and folds that most people cannot. You have the first two down. You only need to master the third.
