That's wonderful my friend. You really nailed it. I've found the deepest satisfaction with my synths trying to make representive music, sound scapes, that transport you somewhere or add the dimension of sound to some image or idea. Our emotional response to sound is such a primitive thing that really is essential to placing you in a space. It's an understanding of music that would seem too abstract or like wankery in so many musical endeavors but with solo synth works it really feels so fundamental to me.
