I used to love my Savage XS. Good to see it back. Please re-release the Firestorm. I've still got one but I worry about using it as spares are thin on the ground!

Great to see HPI back. The Nitro RS4 2 / Racer 2 was my first HPI over 25 years ago. Just placed an order for this new Savage XS Flux and Savage X Flux V2 for my son and nephew, so they can see the level of RC that HPI is when they open that box, read your manuals and dream of RC's.

Can we go back to 2004? I'm a NITRO GUY, GIVE ME WHAT I WANT!! Almost 20yrs later and nitro is irrelevant. My Savage XL is still running strong. Got to love that 5.9 engine. Ahh music to my ears. Here lately I've been collecting Savages. Wish I could find sleeves for the older engines. The original BB.21 is an HPI relic. It sits in my basement waiting for the day I find a piston and sleeve. Don't give up nitro brothers and sisters. Flame on lol don't flame out, glow plugs are pricey lol...

If you can afford it I would suggest you buy this Mini Monster Truck. I used to drive mine around Frankford Transportation Division in Philly. It's a heavy little truck, but lots of fun. I haven't ran it in a while. I will soon.

Why call it a 1/10th scale when we all know it's not. It's definitely 1/12th. It's petty tiny. But that being said I still think it's really cool and gonna order one.

So weird I just picked up a hpi savage 25 for 50 bucks at a yard sale with the intent to do full electric conversion. Now I am seeing a bunch of commercials for this truck. Awesome. Maybe I will just restore the 25 and just buy a Flux. Wonder if they fixed the wheel nut issue ?

I have the same original truck. It’s been thrashed!! The only thing it breaks or looses it that little screw the holds the drive shaft in the cup! I’ve replaced that so many times until I couldn’t find any replacements and now it sits broken in the closet😢

What happened to HPI? They used to be my go-to RC. I loved my savage-x. I used to buy the on-road gas cars too. all of the sudden my hobbie store really didn’t carry much HPI stuff. Super glad to see this video.

How about making the WR8 off road tires and wheels more readily available in America? I could not find them locally or online in America. I had to go through RC Mart out of China. They even had low stock. Also if you could make them last a bit longer and a cheaper price that would be great. There very pricey considering how quick they where out. One more option if you could have them available as a pre glued wheel option for those who don't want to glue tires to the rims themselves. Mark my word. If you cant get the parts to become readily available close to traxxas then Traxxas will continue to dominate. I remember this truck before things went south for HPI. It was a beast. If I did not have so many rc trucks and cars I would try this one out for sure.
