Jamie, I was a single Mom of two boys. When they were little like about Three (3) or so and on. Well I thought they should experience guy stuff. So, I took them fishing. I am a VERY prissy girl, dresses, heels, hats, gloves, full make-up always, hair, you get the picture. Well I wasn't about to touch worms or bait. So....... Since they were so little and didn't know any better, I just didn't bother with the bait. The boys spent a long, long time fishing with bare hooks. My Dad finally found out and "spilled the beans" on me. The boys informed me that it was child abuse. Needless to say those boys learned very quickly how to bait their own hooks. I sure wasn't going to!!! LOL A Colorado Mountain Grandma, USA. (That still doesn't touch any bait) 😁💜

Patty pan are best when cooked like zucchini. Pick them on the smaller side, slice them, coat them in some type of batter or do an egg wash with flour or maybe panco crumbs (Seasoned to your liking, we just use some salt and pepper) and then pan or deep fry to a golden brown. We also slice them in chunks when we do roasted veggies in the oven.

Elaine, we are just starting to set our seedlings out here in the higher Rocky Mountains. We almost always get a freeze on Memorial Day weekend. My Sis can't resist putting out some flowers in early May. I tell her and tell her but she swears we won't have a late freeze. Every year her pretty little flowers die from a late freeze. Sister's can be really hard headed. The gardens you all have right now make me envious and HUNGRY. They sure are pretty. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. Dawn degergent is not organic, its made up of 20+ different chemicals. He would be better off using diatomaceous earth powder if he wants to stay chemical free.

Cont’d… so I was very surprised to see her crying, & hear her say something about Grandmas nagging my Grandfather to his deathbed . I hugged her and told her I was Very sorry about Grandpa I’m just let her cry. Years later we had a dairy farm and my Mother had a favorite Jersey dairy cow… Her name is Bubbles..She had big feet and I was always afraid of her when it came knocking time. (I was a tiny thing)… every time it came time forBubbles to have her calf, she broke down fences and crossed the highway over to the neighbors pasture well she would give birth unbeknownst to my dad until we got a phone call the bubbles was out again and she had her calf!! After the third year of bubbles crossing the road to have her calf and my father trying to continue a friendship with the neighbors and the rising cost of wire and fence post, the time came when daddy told mom it was time to sell bubbles!! Of course she understood and agreed as to why but she love bubbles and she was a beautiful cow and we sold our milk to A&E milk company in Des Moines Iowa and she was one of the top producing house but pros no longer outweigh the cons. I’ll never forget the day when the Semi showed up on the farm to load up Bubbles….My Mom stood in front yard watching the process, taking just a moment away from hanging out her laundry, with tears running down her eyes and daddy motion for her to come over and she said goodbye to her lovely cow. I swear the cow had tears in her eyes, too, ….They do have such beautiful eyes and face & such beautiful calves😊❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ My mother never, EVER got close to another cow after that. So I do understand Daniel as I had a Gorgeous, well behaved Collie dog named “Lady I lost .. .. I don’t really want to say the details online but to this day I’ve never had a dog since because it hurt myself and my children terribly. Sometimes to hurt it’s just so deep but I am very proud of you that you were able to get another male goat. I am excited to see the new babies. I love your channel and you have a wonderful family. I got ya Nikoel, I'm disabled (can't stand but a few minutes and have osteoporosis and can't stand up straight either) and would love to have a garden but can't work in a garden when you walk with a walker. I don't have any where to put a container garden either. I live in a small 1 bedroom apartment with another apartment on the second floor. I also have a shared driveway. The man on the other side has 4 pitbulls and they use my very small backyard for their litterbox and no one cleans it up so I'm not planting anything there, lol.
