Oh you damn right it is! In my area as I live in Santa Rosa the biggest city of wine country in the fifth largest city of the Bay area, I have to Costco's in my area. One in Santa Rosa and another one actually just a little further down the freeway in the neighboring town of Rohnert Park and while they are both Costco, honestly both the stores are arranged completely different. And of course like you said a lot of items are moved away from where that used to be in put somewhere else. Like at first I was confused about bread because it got moved to a completely different spot than where it used to be. There were other items that were moved as well
just a heads up, when you're talking into your mic during the segments that show your face, the audio is only coming out of the left heaphone/speaker. This is usually related to using a mono mic input in a stereo track. Make sure you use mono channels for your mic audio. I hope this helps!
Wow, lotta right earbud crew watching this video! 😂😂 I only have one in most of the day, so I set my phone to mono audio unless I'm listening to music and have both in. Just thought it was weird to see several other people talking about having only the right earbud in as I'm sitting here watching this doing the exact same thing...
Wait… Lady Decade is your line about black jack and hookers bender from futurama? I can’t believe I caught that. I said that for years at one point! What a throw back for me 😊
I have beaten this game twice, and I like it easily as much as the original game. It feels like an absolute perfect evolution of the original that I wish could have become the NES sequel that never happened, and thanks to fans, it did!
Is there a walkthrough somewhere for this game? My wife got this for me 5 years ago as a gift - I got about halfway in and got completely stuck and stumped. Long story short I had one kid then and have 4 now. I don't want to cheat my way through the whole game but I haven't gone back because I just don't have hours and hours anymore to wander around and try to figure out what's next. Also - huge respect for you beating it twice. Awesome!
@@ozmaphase2 yeah I should probably do another search, it's been 4 or 5 years since my first effort - back then I was surprised that I couldn't find anything in terms of a walkthrough or guide online for it.
Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (Super Mario Bros. 2 Japan) has World 9 and Worlds A through D, which are basically part of a shorter Second Quest in The Lost Levels...
What’s up Lady D, I checked my subscription feed. I haven’t played any Zelda games in like forever, I played probably one or two modern games. But remember this old n64 add on called the 64DD, and in an old GamePro mag I recall it was an issue from ‘97. Was called Zelda 64 Dawn & Dusk. If only it wasn’t a disaster I wonder what the release could of been if. The 64DD peripheral would of succeeded I wish Nintendo would have re-released and modernized that game wish I knew! I’m sure you remeber the 64DD add on 😂
1:43 - "What Nintendon't!". I think I'm in love! I'm transported back to 1994! "Genesis does, what Nintendon't!" [Note to self; add Lady Decade to watch list. Like and subscribe :D] 5:56 - Bender! lol! Too much!
People saying that the ps2 being called a DVD player as a burn must know it was the best way to get a DVD player. The fact the system is more than just a media player was pretty impressive for it's time. Why pay for a high priced DVD player when you could get a ps2 that delivers that plus gaming also not to mention it's backwards compatible right out of the box
Just a "friendly" heads-up as you appear to be really young (or maybe they didn't air this animated series in the UK) but Link actually DOES TALK. He was voiced by Jonathan Potts who voiced the character for 13 episodes in the Legend of Zelda series that aired every Friday on the Super Mario Brothers Super Show.
Saves backed up by a battery weren't pioneered by Zelda nor Nintendo, first game to have that was an msx game called Hydlide 2 launched same year but before Zelda that utilized battery saves, and also an epoch Super Cassette Vision game called Pop and chips that was launched a year earlier.
@@HarmonicWave msx is well-known outside the US, there's actually a huge scene of collectors for it in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, I own ~10 MSX computers myself, it's a wonderful system
i wanted a sequel to the first game in the same graphics , but just an extension of the map , that would have been cool if they did that instead of zelda 2 the way they changed the graphics.
I am little late to the party (e.g., nintendo switch, etc. ) and still have my old console from 1989. This revamped game looks amazing; where and now may I get my hands on this to play myself?
If I want to play or make Zelda clone games there is always "Zelda Classic. " It has been around since the late 90's and 100's of Zelda type games has been made by fans using that game engine and editor. Well it's not really a rom hack but a pc program but it mimics the original well and you can also add countless of new things and features.
Armageddon Games released Zelda Classic back in 1999 and there have been many what I call "homebrews" over the years. One of the best titles I ever came across was "Link in Castlevania".
@@nashvillan4lifYes, I remember running it under Dos 6.22(?) and windows 3.11 back then. Newer versions have far more features but still have the old Dos feel to them.
Yeah, it's one of the reasons the PS2 is the best selling console of all time. It wasn't much more expensive than a regular DVD player, which basically meant it was always in stock. It was also fully backwards compatible with the PS1, which was also very successful. I definitely started using it as a DVD player and PS1 before I got a few PS2 games.
Wait a minute. The way you phrased that is confusing. Pioneering the battery backup in English release? Are you trying to say that in other languages like French or German or Spanish or something they didn't get the battery backups in the cartridge? 😂
i cried tears of the kingdom when tears of the kingdom was confirmed which in turn confirmed that what was entailed in my sliver of hope that I had been holding onto desperately, nintendo abandoning a lifetime of trying new things with their second flagship franchise and instead releasing what every old school zelda fan wants, a proper modern zelda with actual dungeons, was indeed not coming to fruition.

Your live microphone has an issue: only the left channel is recorded.
7:00 hate to nitpick lore but Ganon devised relatively little. With the exception of Spectacle Rock every dungeon in Zelda 1 & 2 is a creation of the Hylian royal family. The princess hid the triforce pieces there in Zelda 1 and the monsters are there to keep Ganon's forces out but Link wasn't added to the guest list, while in Zelda 2 the temples existed to maintain the ancient protection on the triforce of courage
How does Nintendo feel about fan made hacks and homebrew of its IP? Nintendo hates piracy, and they probably don't like when their IP is used without permission. They very rarely license out their IP to third party companies even. They guard Mario, Zelda, etc. like gold.
I'd hate to say it but I actually kind of suck at the original Zelda. I don't think it's a bad game or anything I just am not good at it. Now I actually think the original Metroid sucks because there's too many rooms it look the same and it's really hard to know where you're going, but back to Zelda. I grew up in the nineties and I started with a link to the past on the SNES. I also played Ocarina of Time but actually play that a lot later. I played Link's Awakening before that. In fact I had actually beaten four swords adventure before I ever fully completed Ocarina of Time. In fact my first time ever playing the original Legend of Zelda was actually on Super smash Bros brawl in a bleep was the masterpieces section where you can play very short demos of classic games that feature the various characters of Super smash Bros brawl. A little later I did in fact download the original Legend of Zelda on the Wii virtual console and again I still kind of sucked at it. It's disappointing how bad I am at the original Zelda when I'm generally really great at video games and I'm also quite good at A Link to the past. I think the reason why I have difficulty with the original Zelda is because of how the sword works in that game. In A Link to the past the sorts wipes are animated to the point that it's not just right in front of you but it's like goes all over the front of you from a full-on 90-degree angle pretty-much across your body so it's a lot easier to hit your target with your sword. Unlike in the original sell dope with a sword just literally appears smoking in front of me when you attack and it's instant. And the fact that you can't move diagonal or attack at an angle has definitely been a tough adjustment for me. I'll give the game another shot on my switch sense of a ton of classic NES games in there as well as of course SNES, N64, Genesis, Game Boy, and GBA, but anyway maybe if I just practice bad enough I could adjust to how it plays. It just kind of feels like a tough adjustment what I'm used to the later games especially since I grew up with the later games and had for once finally played the original by the time I was already twenty years old in 2008 when playing brawl so I hadn't had any practice growing up.
