The next chapter of Dave Strife and Robenhagen's epic adventure awaits! With it being episode 7 of Final Fantasy VII - we hope it’s all lucky 7s for our duo as they try to escape the desert... Hey, Rob in FF7: Remake, chocobo was said by Aerith. I don't remember what chapter, but it was the first run in the sewer with Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith. Tifa want to go shopping and Aerith asked if she can come. Tifa responds, "You better." And as the two walk away, Tifa look back at Cloud whispering, "Cloud can carry all of our stuff". And Aerith teases, saying, "he can be our pack chocobo."

VOD Squad - Watching Dave experience this for the first time has encouraged me to play it myself and go for the platinum. I'm loving the Robbenhagen and Dave combo too, he is the Berserk to his Bio 😂😂 hope we get to see a full and complete playthrough, always look forward to tuning in every week 💪🏻

@@Caldyz I nabbed it a couple of weeks back. Most of it was ok, what was Hell on Earth was the Gil trophy, Ruby Weapon and I had to do another playthrough up to the Gold Saucer date because I messed up some dialogue and missed the bromance trophy for Barret 😭 never completed it before so it was to achieve that too. Currently on Temple of the Ancients on Rebirth and I don't want it to end 😁

I like the way Robenhagen pronounced Nanaki. I used just say it like nah-nAh-key, but Nah-nah-ky sound so much better.

#vodsquad - Possibly saddest thing I've done with this game is set up Red XIII's name as Nanaki when recruiting him to set up a chuckle at a single exchange of dialogue hours later. "Nanaki? Who's that?" "Oh! You mean Nanaki!" (When i've not had all the characters insulting each other throughout the whole game)

Edit to add: The froggy hopping animation to celebrate made that whole fight worth it! 46:09 Ok, the frog fight was a bit more heckling sibling than coach from Rob there lol. Back attack meant the layout was different, then once the party was transformed all you see is Red XIII surrounded by 4 frogs 🐸🐸🐸🐸 and have to remember where yours were standing. Worse if you got distracted in menus and didn't actually see them transform... Of course Dave was confused, I was too! "Frogs can't use magic, obviously!" 😂 so helpful 😂.

A tip about the Chocobo Race is if you sprint around the corner that's gold and at the end use another sprint at the rainbow section's corner. If pushes you ahead easily.

I pronounce the made-up names like Mako and Nanaki like a Japanese person, since this game is from there. Also, here in Finland, we pronounce those kind of names similarly.

I know he is 'new' to the game but you would have thought Dave would know to immediately equip material and buy new weapons to equip ASAP by now. How many unexpected battles does he need to get in to before he learns!!! Also, even if you don't have people in your party now there have been times when people have been forced in to your party... so get stuff for them too. Other than that... what fun!

Playing these classic games in front of a chat/comments section is always fraught with danger. I'm sure people are trying to be helpful but it certainly can come across as condescending or demanding a perfect play through without tone or context and when there are 20 people saying the same thing at the same time. Most people mean well I'm sure

I have to assume he's playing the character because I can't believe Rob, a man who meltdowns whenever the chat tells him to do anything, would actually think yelling "oh hurry" at Dave would help. Rob tends to play characters so I think that's what's happening.
