I have plugged in wired and everything works but when I check the volume on my phone the volume does not match what is coming out of the LinksWell Gen4 radio. But when I just use Bluetooth music it works well. Can you give me some advice or tips?
Need help. I have the gen 5 and a galaxy S22 ultra. The android auto is working during wired and wireless connection. The Bluetooth is working also. The problem is android auto will not play youtube music. All of your steps work but the music glitches by pausing and playing nonstop or will randomly cycle through all the songs or albums super fast. My wife's iPhone 13max pro is doing the same thing with Apple music. What I'm trying to do is be able to play music will using navigation.
I have a pixel 7 pro and I went back to 18 version of the Z-Link app and it connected one time and it was glorious after that it will not connect and I reset everything and I know my Wi-Fi is off on the radio and all that. I look in the Android Auto app on my phone and it sees the connection says it's available I wish they would fix this because this radio is so glitchy The only reason I keep this thing the only reason is not because of the screen because of the sound quality it's very frustrating to pay like over $1,500 for something like this and have this kind of beta performance.
Android Auto is an app for the phone not the radio. To have the radio control it you need to open up Car Auto app on the Gen 6. You can watch our video showing how to do it on the XL. The Gen 6 will work the same. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3vh0W57YM2U.htmlsi=v-1neL9sDOWAnRR4
I'm having an issue with my T-series Gen 5 android auto Mic. The radio hears me say Hey Google but does not understand my words. What am I doing wrong?
I have the Gen 5 and was wondering which of your two methods should I be using to make calls using the steering wheel controls? I have a 2020 Ford Expedition Max, I know I lost SynC which I could make calls using the controls on the steering wheel. I don't believe the hands free controls was one of the features I lost when changing to this radio.
So if you are wanting to use the voice control button it will vary. We don’t have voice controls across the radio as a whole. And if you are in Android Auto or CarPlay you may get it to work for Hey Google or Hey Siri.
@@LinksWellInc I bought gen-5 from Car Stereo One the first one had a scratch on it they sent it back now I have the second one that has a scratch on it what do you think I should do they're telling me they're being sent like that
I have your Gen 5 radio installed in a 2026 GMC Sierra. The wired Android Auto works fine. No such luck with the wireless Android Auto. I have listened to this two-minute video many times. Followed all instructions. No luck. What can I do?????? I have also spoken to Arthur and updated all the software on the system. Also, the blue tooth connects and then disconnects. Rather strange. I do know the phone works because it has worked in several rental cars that have Android Auto. Who do I call to make things happen? Thanks😪
@@LinksWellInc Have installed 4.01.18. Does not work. Even the Bluetooth does not stay connected. Am I the only buyer to have this problem?? Bad radio??? What's the fix? Can I talk to a live expert and fix the problem???????????????😭😭😭😭
So you need to make the one that comes with our radio fit into the factory USB bezel. So you have to take apart the factory hub, remove the factory USM part and install ours.
@@LinksWellInc I need to plug your USB port in to my phone I need to know the size of the USB port so I can run to my samesung s 22 ultra. Pulse phone. Thanks Roy
I bought this radio about 3 weeks ago and so far I am disappointed with this feature. In order to get android auto to work is by turning the bluetooth on and off several times. I have to do this every time that I get in my vehicle
What version of ZYLNK is on the radio. The latest Android Auto update has created all sorts of strange connection issues. If it isn’t try loading 4.0.18 We have a video on here on how to update ZLYNK. Follow those instructions loading .18
My wifi tab will not slide to the on position. It was working fine i turned the bt on and it shut it off, i tried to turn it back on (after disconnecting bt) it switches to on for a millisecond then back to off...any ideas?
Hey I have Gen 4, i borrowed my car to my friend and upon return i noticed while using my phonelink my navi is only half size as i have 2 apps windows right underneath of it. One is my radio app and besides that temp icon for.outdoor. how do i get rid off it. Thank u in advance
I have the Gen 5 radio. When I go into the Bluetooth settings it automatically connects to my phone so I never had to enter the PIN code to connect. The issue then becomes the zlink app never came up and paired just says waiting on the screen.
Did you follow all the steps in the video? Try forgetting the device on the phone and start over.... - Making sure the radio's wifi is "off" - Making sure your phone has "Wireless Android Auto" turned on in the settings
@@LinksWellInc yes, the Wi-Fi was turned off before doing this. I have an iPhone and clicked on Bluetooth and found the radio and clicked the radio which then automatically paired and Bluetooth works but nothing else happened.
I'm in the same boat it connects the Bluetooth and I look in my Android auto settings on my phone and I even installed Android Auto on the tablet but on my phone it just says wireless Android Auto available and it shows that it's connected Bluetooth wise to the head unit. Another reason not to waste your money on this unit I have had nothing problems with this thing it's definitely not worth the cost this should not be this hard to hook up wireless Android auto or CarPlay
Wi-Fi is off on my radio and every time I get in the truck it does not always connect to Android auto. Sometimes I have to play with the Bluetooth in phone link settings or shut the truck off completely to get Android auto to launch. What does this?
So Android Auto as an App isn’t the most reliable. But we can try a few things. 1. What version of ZLYNK is on the radio? For Android we found 4.0.18 has been the most reliable. 2. Does the phone connect to Bluetooth each time? Or is it struggling to connect to that as well?
@@ericanthony9058 so you can try finding something like I show in this video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9VX9C75_noA.html Wireless Android Auto is actually hard to come by. Wireless CarPlay is much easier to find. But search a dongle like this that does Wireless Android Auto.
@@LinksWellInc yes wifi is off..i have phonelink version 4.0.34...i was told i need 4.0.26 but its no longer on your support file page....how do i get it ?
@@LinksWellInc I got it to work. The wifi was off on the radio already but I hadn't rebooted it from when the wifi was on. One thing that seems to happen is when Amazon music turns on through the android auto, music doesn't play right away by the songs countdown is going. For some reason I have to pause the song and hit play then the sound will come from car speakers
I downgraded to 0.18 and I got it to work one time. After that it would not reconnect. Pixel 7 pro Android wireless auto does not work and it shouldn't be this hard because it was advertised to work with Android Auto any suggestions? And no the Wi-Fi did not automatically turn on on the radio cuz I kept that off and Android Auto actually sees the car but it just won't connect consistently pretty ridiculous.
I have an apple device and I currently use a wireless car adapter that i purchased on Amazon. I plug adapter to the usb coming from back of my Linkswell radio and it works.
My screen doesn't move past the "waiting" screen and my phone keeps disconnecting from the bluetooth after about a minute while waiting to boot up android auto..... help me please!!!!
@@JoeE1024 So Android Doesn't like .26. We are waiting on one that works well with both Android and Apple. If you go back to .18 your Android will work, but not Apple. I have a video showing how to update the ZLYNK
