Looks very pretty, but some more color would definitely make it feel more like a home. Looking around that parlor, it looks very...empty? Not much seems to be there. Still, there are parts I like very much about it.

It does seem a tad sparse,but I suppose they were going for a minimalist flavor alongside the French influence. I admire the pieces used but maybe they needed a few more items to flesh it out. Just my two cents.

Not my style at all. Looks to one dimensional. I think it is missing some old chipped up antique pieces to give it depth and a bit of color.

Beautiful home, but I wouldn't call that French. To a French person that home looks very American... Still love it though :)

Art, ORIGINAL Art, IMO, is more important than the knick knacks and the furniture.. Empty walls, like in this room , are SO Boring and not warm.. I have years of painting from travelling, mainly bought in flea markets and cheaper auction houses.. I had 5 of them restored that were ripped and damaged.. I spent 200 on one, spent 800 dollars to restore it, and it is alisted artist, and worth around 15 K now.. ART, mOST Important, even cheap art, just get nicely framed.. Simple

It looks quite elegant but it needs a bit of color to brighten up a bit as it looks quite dark inside even though on a sunny day. I would put a white or a brighter curtain in the living and change the furniture. Overall the house looks beautiful.

I want a parlor in my home... but it would likely contain a bar ;-)

What a delightful house. You and the designer did a great job. I especially loved the little curved sofa. The colors and fabrics are yummy!

People act like its such a labourous task to decorate a home they have bought. I can't stand it when people act so blindly entitled and ignorant to how lucky they are. "It was impossible to cart out daughter from store to store...not an option." House looks beautiful...but kinda very much like someone other than the homeowner's decorated it.You always miss a personal touch when you bring someone from the outside in to do what should be an inside job.
