One thing I find kind of fascinating about singers, is they all have their trademark stances. Maynard a lot of times like in this video will be sort of be hunched over and do these light lunge forwards, Eddie Vedder likes to cup the mic in his hands, Chris Cornell's preference was to take the mic off the stand and hold it in one hand and sort of wander, Layne Staley would grip the mic stand in one hand at the middle and the other on the mic a lot of times. I always liked how Liam Gallagher would have his hands behind his back and lean forward into the mic. Just some examples I've noticed.

Paz Lenchantin is awesome ! She's in The Pixies. You should check out APC- Stone and Echo especially Orestes, sooooooo good. The whole show is great. APC's music is definitely more melodic than TOOL, and Billy and Maynard compliment each other vocally so beautifully.

Studies versions are so much better. One thing I always liked about a perfect circle. Great production. Sounds good on the radio. funny when most people have no clue how dark his lyrics are and when played on the radio. People happily singing along.

80% of the time you see maynard on stage, he's in his underwear. i think the underwear and creepy stance is what gives him that heavenly voice lol

If you like the sound of Maynard harmonizing with a female vocal you need to check out some Puscifer. Maynard and Carina Round are the perfect vocal paring. Really hard to suggest just one so I'll just share one of my favorites at the moment... This "A Singularity" from the socially distanced Arcosanti Live show this past fall. You have to do Orestes live from Red Rocks. It’s such a good performance as extremely good audio quality. Plus you’ll LOVE the harmonies in that song

This band has changed there style a little randomly but can be more on the slow melodic side SOMETIMES lol it’s hard to say. You should just start from the beginning, there opening song On there first album called -THE HOLLOW👍 Do the studio version though. The drumming plays a big part in what makes this band super awesome.

Here’s a little back story on the thing. Tool went off the radar after the Anima album Due to a legal battle with record label I believe, Then 5 years later Tool released there fourth albums Lateralus! But before the release, Came the first A PERFECT CIRCLE Album, It was cool because this was the first time hearing Anything new from Maynard in like 5 year. 👍

1st time listen to this version is a shame, song is amazing but you should have went for the studio version. This (and many other) live version`s audio sucks and the players miss some of their notes :P
