Everyone is stalking about how great Maynard is. Billy Howerdel doesn't get nearly enough credit. Without him Mer De Noms wouldn't even exist. Hell, A Perfect Circle wouldn't even exist!
Billy Howard is out of this world. I almost can't listen to Judith because he is literally killing that guitar. His voice is awesome as well but I have to give Maynard props because I love him so much and I can't resist.
Why is Santa you saying need to make his vocals were so good and don’t keep up the good work keep his mind music lovers mom know nothing thinking of her all the time
As a big Maynard fan, he actually doesn’t write any of the songs for Tool or APC. Sorry to be nitpicky but adding lyrics and vocal melodies isn’t songwriting.
My first ever concert was on this tour but it took place the same day as my 8th grade graduation. I didn't care about the graduation but my parents made me go anyways. It caused me to miss APC who I didn't even know at the time. I still enjoyed NIN who I was there to see. However, it caused me to look into A Perfect Circle and the rest is history. To this date I've seen them 7 times and Tool 13 times.
Just finding this, always enjoy hearing this band, Judith is my favorite song. I think Paz deserves a lot of credit for being an amazing bass player, so talented. And beautiful...
I saw this tour with NIN and APC as the opener. My first concert! It was phenomenal. Maynard pulled a banana out of his pants and threw it into the crowd. I miss these days!
@@davidhayes8728 its not an either/or. MJK has written many songs about his mom, either directly or indirectly- Judith, Orestes, Vacant/Passive, Jimmy, Wings for Marie/10k Days, etc.
but Orestes is APC's best song, no question. I wish there was a high quality version of the alternate version ("picture a parish in a playground, innocent faces in a circle...")
Wow Wow Wow Wow what the hell!!!! Absolutely, resolutely mindblowing,it takes me and you to another space and time.I have no words to distinctly describe this performance.....
Maynard was just that good back in the 90's and early 00's. Don't get me wrong, he's still good but he was great! He was fantastic when I saw Tool in 96, 97, 98, 03 and APC in 01 but his voice changed a bit starting in 07. Again, not bad by any means just not great like he was when he was younger.
@@JSchaffer214hit the nail on the head. He’s always going to be a great singer but he can’t help aging. But man in his prime, late 90’s into ‘01 with Lateralus if you ask me…he was truly a monster; one of the best of his time.
I saw this tour in New Orleans on May 25th, 2000. It was obviously amazing. Plus it was on my birthday. It's the only time I've seen APC live. 24 years later, I still look back on it fondly.
I saw this in columbus Ohio.i was 15 years old.that was the first time I saw NIN.would not be the last.i remember when APC came out no one knew who they were.i was 40 or 50 ft.from the stage.i punched my best friend.i was like that's Maynard holy shit.i live in c-bus Ohio.nobody in the Midwest NO ONE knew anything about APC.im so glad I got to see them.THIS ALBUM IS A CLASSIC.JUST PUSH PLAY.
Strange, I'm from a small city in Alabama and all my friends and I were into APC day one. Of course I'm older than you (20 when they debuted). Maybe that's why.
Wish someone would refine and release this on DVD. Best live album performance of all time imo. Pearl Jam did great with Ten as well but think this one beats it.
Pude ver una parte de este cocierto en ese canal, transmitido para la Ciudad de México y lo grabé en un VHS, pero sólo una parte, la programación cómo ahora, ya era bastarda y no dejaban completo, nada... Súper!!!!! Thxs 4share!
Badboy live performance, for some reason I was just seeing it as if it was really LIVE, like the video was changing slightly every time I reloaded the page, and I could see them playing slightly differently each time. Was super high quality though. Really love this performance... Such good singing, different to every other artist by miles. Great guitar, drums and bass too. Wish I could afford to see them in person live. Hopefully one day I will... would be awesome.
If anybody can find it online somewhere it's a perfect circle live in Toronto it's during the same tour they opened up for Nine Inch Nails I bought the bootleg once and I wore it out and haven't found it since it is the greatest APC album ever made women you will go crazy over it
Some of their 2000s concerts was just godly alongside the Stone and Echo concert years later. APC is quite likely Maynard’s best project away from Tool
Maynard was surely in his absolute prime here. If you’ve ever heard him sing Breña recently, or even back in 2003-2004, he can’t sing it quite as good as this. He just couldn’t hit those higher notes after a couple years of playing it live.
Brena is one of my favorite under rated songs on this brilliant album. It never got the respect it deserved. I do think he reserves his vocols more nowso but that's smart.
Good lord...Could you imagine...Showing up yo see Nine Inch Nails at the pique of the career and then learning....Your going to hear Maynard doing this other sort of main stream radio rock tool inspired set I mean you would want to keep the ticket with the date stamped and.....
I know that this band has had a number of lineup changes, but whoever the drummer is that played on Stone and Echo is certainly not boring to watch or listen to. Those fills and rolls are absolute perfection. Maybe the bassist has been directed to lay low. It's Billy's band, pretty much.
@@mmoonnchildd I love this band. However I saw them headline a festival in Dallas not long ago, I was underwhelmed to say the least.. Maybe an off night, not sure.
