The first and second days of my cycle are usually horrible. I have to swallow a load of painkillers just to stay sane, otherwise I'll vomit all day from cramps and end up in hospital getting rehydrated and pumped with IV pain meds. 🙄

You can’t replenish the nitric oxide that you lose as you age if you don’t chew your leafy greens. Pulverizing them eliminates the nitric oxide that they could replenish for you. You get all the other vitamins and nutrients, yeah, but nitric oxide is what you need to not have a heart attack lol. It’s OK, I also thought I was doing myself a world of good by blending my greens and “getting them in for the day” until I learned that from Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn a couple years ago. 😅 Yes, you’re doing yourself some good, but you’re not doing yourself the most good. You have to work through your leafy greens to do yourself the most good LOL. It’s an exercise unto itself (a great jaw workout) and a lifestyle change to knowingly want to incorporate. 🤷♀️ The reason you hate kale is you’re likely not eating it correctly. You’re supposed to massage your kale for about 5 minutes (watch videos), and buying it packaged and not just stripping it off the stem is awful quality kale-impossible to massage. They also add the stems, and you’re not supposed to eat the stems. (I mean you can but…) You don’t even add the stems in soups unless you’re being extra and making vegetable broth from them for the soup (lol so extra because you need more than _just_ kale stems to make vegetable broth). So if that’s what you’re doing, buying prepackaged kale, that’s why you absolutely hate it. I also hate kale. When it’s packaged and “convenient” it’s at its _worst._ It’s absolutely wonderful when it’s fresh and freshly stripped. It’s so good in hearty stews and soups. The easiest way to eat kale is cooked, though. Kale, tomatoes, and onion cook noicely together. 🤌 Garlic maybe with a bit more spices lol. Maybe you lose some vitamins or whatever when you cook it, but I think gaining nitric oxide is far more important, and if you’re eating 6 cups of leafy greens as you should be every day to keep a healthy heart, I think you can spare a few vitamins or minerals being “lost.” Normal people don’t eat 6 cups of leafy greens much less 1 cup most days lol. If you ate 6 cups of cooked kale daily, who cares what little vitamins and minerals you lost when you cooked it 😅 Anyway. I also stay home if I can help it during my TOM. Thanks to the Internet I now realize this is a pretty common thing to do. Nothing. lol.

The fact that she mentions that she's going to therapy seems like it's not that personal. If someone doesn't want others to ask then don't mention it at all, otherwise it's taken as attention seeking. Give Dayana a break. People post their lives on social media so it's natural to be curious when they mention they're going to therapy.
