I was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 when I was only 32 years old. While the doctors didn't tell me I only had a specific time to live, it was a good possibility that I was going to end up in a wheelchair from the surgery I needed, and some doctors said I would never be cured. My treatment plan was 17 rounds of chemotherapy and possible radiation. Long story short, in June I will be 3 years cancer free! You never know what the future holds, so embrace everyday and always make sure that the people in your life know how much they mean to you! 🎗

When I was 1 my mum got 6 months to live then 5 years but she was a warrior so she fought till I was 12 sadly she padded away a few months ago

I was diagnosed with a terminal brain cancer at 23. I went to radiation in my PJ's. Not because I was playing a victim but because it was what I wanted to do. I wanted to lay on that table with my head strapped to a mask comfortably. I didn't match my socks, I didn't show up in real clothes & guess what, I was comfortable doing something very uncomfortable. I have had 3 brain surgeries, 20+ MRI's, 6 weeks of straight to the brain radiation, & a year of high dose chemo. I never asked for a timelime because despite bring doctors, even they can't predict the unforeseen. I am 27 months post diagnosis & I do suffer from deficits but they don't change a damn thing. I do what I want, when I want because it what makes me happy. I'm not going out of my way to do special things jist because I'm sick. I know that even if I was healthy I wouldn't have done them. I want to spend my time taking naps, petting my cats, drinking insane amounts of tea, & loving my husband. That's my life as a terminal patient & it's comfortable.

my grandmother's best friend was told she has six months to live due to lung cancer, and she was the listener in their friendship and my family is worried for when we lose her we'll lose my grandma, she spends every day with her. gets her wigs, bakes her cookies, being the sweetest. and when I saw this video I thought it was her, she even looks like her and I started crying so much that I ran down stairs a woke up my grandma just so I could hug her

My sister has stage 4 colon cancer, was told last April she has months to live and would be lucky to make it to her 23rd birthday. Her 23rd birthday is April 28th and she is currently thriving as she entered remission for the 3 time!

In 2006my grandma was told she had 5--6 months to live. She passed away in December 2014. I hope this woman lives longer than what her doctors expect

This is so heartbreaking... Now I'm feeling very ungrateful. I have a good life but I'm unsatisfied and sometimes I feel depressed because I don't love myself and I have social anxiety. And, on the contrary, she is very strong, grateful and happy. I look up to her.

I'm tearing up. Cancer took the most amazing man I ever knew from my life eleven years ago, and it still hurts. It's like a wound, that keeps reopening. He was my family's warrior, always will be, even though he lost the fight.

this was a great video, my step-father had recently just passed away from pancreatic cancer and he had the same outlook on life, even when he was bound to a hospital bed with just weeks left to live he still wanted to try to help people and make their lives better even tho his was coming to an end. he was a vet and a true American and the nicest person you cold ever meet, i will love him always. I wish this woman a joy-filled 6 months. I feel so grateful as my grandmother was just diagnosed with the same cancer last month. They found her tumor on accident, and that ended up saving her life. We take good health for granted, but life can change in an instant. Be grateful for every second you get to spend with the people you love!

We just found this same news a few weeks back about my gran, same horrible disease, same time frame, really came out of nowhere, but it's important that as a family you stay strong not only for the person who's suffering but for others around you and not panic, use the time to show that this isn't the end, it's the time to realise all the things this video embodies, it's truly a touching and beautiful video , has my total respect.

It's just so strange that in 6 months this person, this human, this being will seize to exist. Her past, her future will disappear and we will forget her eventually. My grandmother is the most amazing woman I've ever known and she has cancer and not very long left with us yet she's still in good spirits every day and gives all her love, time, and money to those she cares about and doesn't spend a minute complaining or being sad about her situation. One of the only things she's ever said about not having very long is that she's gonna miss her grandchildren. She's definitely living as happy and loving as she could possibly be.

This is what my best friend in the whole world's grandfather is going through. He is an amazing man, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. No one deserves to go through this.

my aunty got told she has 2 months to live last week end

My uncle was battling cancer on and off for 10 years and he passed away in October. When he was told he had only months to live dang he lived those last few months out fully. He travelled throughout the world and spent lots of time with his family.
