I feel Matt's pain. As a personal trainer and physical therapist, I get asked by friends and family to help with diet all the time, and this is always how it goes. They keep asking but never commit lol.
Bro, you really need to listen to Matt more. He was definitely steering you in the right direction. I know there was satire in there but you did leave with the mega pack of the Chef's ravioli and diet Coke.... just sayin'
Wow Holden looks so much better now. I'm glad he actually started listening to Matt, and really taking his health seriously. Such a huge difference, and it all started here.
You may want to consider seeding in a winter veggie garden, sometime after the heat breaks in September. You can also plant those raviolis to grow ravioli trees that you'll love. If you drill deep enough into the planet, it's possible you'll strike Dr. Pepper and could make extra money filling recycled jugs for people - Heck, sell it on Craigslist or put some people on the street at busy intersections to sell it for you.... Cheers!
I've watched a few grocery hauls. I think I like the Melia show, she shows you a lot of tips and tricks for shopping at Costco. She's also a lot easier on the eyes.
You tried! 👍 It is tough to buy from a Sam's or BJ's for one or two people due to quantity of food packaged. Save $ by buying items that store well - bath paper, paper towels, razors, vitamins, frozen products in smaller packages, etc. Some smaller fresh foods are the eggs & milk, lower than at grocery stores.
They say we don't like to talk about money but i think the money is talking to us heck even i started to stop eating so much fast food and learn to cook at home and you know what i'm glad i became fat cause then wants you want to diet you learn all types of things you used to eat and look them up and wonder why i gained so much wait and having health problems and plus you learn a lot for your self as well. I even save so much money just by eating the right food and not keep eating none stop. That's why i believe in this statement "Never rush to success".
I'm becoming more responsible in this area myself, I was just surprised that there was nothing there at all, lol. I guess they have some boxes near the front that you can use, but we just brought everything out loose, haha.
This is were I thanks my Portuguese heritage, We know how to cook, we know how to choose food, we know so many healthy but yummy recipes. All just because our ancestors were foodies and liked to get fat on yummy stuff. lol And btw the watermelon part pissed me off so much. Not only you are buying something that is more expensive, it also comes a in damn plastic box. It´s waste. It´s waste that does not degrade. Meanwhile the watermelon comes in a nice package that can be thrown anywhere and it will not ruin the environment. I will never understand already-chopped-fruit-in-a-plastic-box crap.
Should've bought an outdoor set while you were there... Or *MATTS BEANS* Edit: your reaction to fish is the same as mine(also, replace 'fish' with 'other people' and that's me too)
Is it true that nearly every single food in America is processed and that there is nearly no "organic" food and that they still add stuff to like fruit and veg
@@knightyknight4837 yeah that's why I'm scared or going to America because I had an allergic reaction to one of the chemicals in the sweets once which aren't allowed in Europe and I hear they use chemicals in nearly everything
So you bought bananas and yogurt Haha. Never really got into bulk grocery shopping because it didn't seem logical for a family of 3. Did Costco for a while, $60 yearly membership and spend 15 minutes in line. No thank you.
Hey. Believe it or not I've saved a lot of money shopping at Sams or Costo. Also Sams and Costo(I believe) have their own app so you can scan the barcodes and pay from your phone. So you don't have to wait in any lines. As far the membership goes...yeah gotta pay that. 2014 I spent 14,000 on groceries, going out and all. 2015 I spent 7,000 on groceries because of meal prepping and using Sams. Give it another shot!
Dude, this is actually really stressfull to watch, coming from a country with a LOT of healthy, vegan-including options of reasonable size. These malls offer way too much, unhealthy garbage of extreme proportions, and the average customer is so used to it that actively changing your diet is very difficult. Even a sweet, innocent guy like Holden is kind of trapped into it and you can clearly see Matt suffer through his buddy's poor choices. Funny video nonetheless, I love you guys both, but still, this was painful.
