Not undermining the greatness of this video, but seriously...not much in this world better then the game itself, and without it, this video wouldn’t exist, so not really a fair comparison, is it?

In my opinion Lady De Rhun is a good mother, who wants to save her children at all costs. What is your opinion?

@@PesTka_EdItor SPOILERS: thanks for the response. I admit that at first, I was like what the heck woman you have two kids. Just because one is sick doesn't mean you ignore the other one. BUT. When you leave the manner with her, I was ready to like her. Once you are playing Hugo during the rescue I realized I cared for her character a lot. then she just turned into a badass as we discovered the Roman Baths. IDK I went through quite the emotional journey with her character which is why I was asking.

DIAbycmgm at first I thought she was a little rude to Amicia and also thought she neglected her. But that was until I learned what exactly was wrong with Hugo. I still hate her work and Hugo kept her from Amicia but something that strong and powerful, I can certainly see why it took all her attention. But you can see she loves both of her children and at least she is there with them in the end 💙 although I kind of see Hugo and Amicia maybe being closer than they’ll be with their mom now. Considering all they went through, I can see them being pretty inseparable even with things going back to normal. I believe they are discussing a sequel though!

Absolutely hate her. But I feel like that’s a good thing. I think the best part of Amicia’s character arc is summed up in her dream sequence, when Hugo tells Amicia that the reason she didn’t tell him their mom was alive was because she was jealous. Why would Amicia feel like Hugs sees her as jealous? Is it because she’s jealous that mom gave her brother all the love and affection, and Amicia got none of it? I don’t think so. At first, sure, but as you traverse through the game I think Amicia becomes horrified of not being able to take care of Hugo as well as his mom did. It’s almost like a game of favoritism in a way, as Amicia and De Rhun battle for Hugo’s trust and love. I feel like in the end, they both have it, but more proof that Amicia still isn’t getting love shown from her mom is the fact that she ain’t even happy when she sees Amicia has come to save her, right before the final boss. What I feel is most beautiful about this is the fact that I think Hugo ends up having more trust for Amicia in the end, anyway, especially because she’s shown time and time again that she is willing to do brutal things to keep Hugo safe, and as much as it hurts Hugo to witness these things, deep down, it’s all the proof he needs that Amicia cares. That’s why I was kinda disappointed when Lady De Rhun ended up being alive, as I think it messed with the chemistry between Hugo and Amicia, but it also established the fact that Amicia will still lie to Hugo if she believes that’s what will keep him safe, just as she did at the beginning of the story. Perhaps this topic can be addressed further in a sequels! One can only hope
