A small fixed blade is the shit for edc, and with that sheath they killed it! Those scales are outstanding, can't go wrong with those colors. Vox makes some super comfortable knives as folders, and this looks like you could handle it all day with no issues.

Neat idea with the sheath… also I think that’s a really useful length for edc. Never edc’d a fixed might have to buy one of those.

I've been carrying the Micro for a month or so & I like it a lot. But it is on the smaller side. This one might be a more useful size. Great video

Wonder how much the magnetic sheath weighs? Also noticed there is a kydex option wonder if both blade shapes fit or if you have to buy 2?

I think 7in OAL give or take 1/2inch is quite the perfect size for a small edc fixed blade 👌🏽

MKM isn’t a knifemaker, it’s a cooperative brand made by four of the most prominent Maniago Knife Makers (Fox, Viper, LionSteel, and Mercury). “Mikita” is Maniago Innovation Knives ITAly.

These would look cool a f in a kitchen with clear bases to stick in right ? Like two side by side standing straight up facing wide right ? Or the other way ?

The scales on the spear point are stunning. I would put those scales on the other blade.

Really dig that FatCarbon they use on these, they both look great.

How's the steel? Good edge retention? Good heat treat? I've seen several reviews complaining about MKM heat treat, but it's not clear the time frame or if the issue has been corrected.

Nice but to expensive to ship it to Europe. Would be around double the price of a standard makro.

I’ve been eying this one. I got a traditional from Jamie Luvs Knives (who sold you the microtech made by Rike) and I was immediately in love with MKM and the sheath design. I had the exact thought to use it for a baby fixed blade, but didn’t want to harm the leather and not have it for the traditional he gave me. I wonder if they would sell the sheath by itself. That wharnecliffe is hotttttt. I carry a wharnecliffe fixie every single day and find it the most useful for any wet or dirty cuts. That jimping on the back seems to be for traction, in the same way that a backpacker with gear pattern aids in the palm, while cutting, is my best guess.

If they had made the scales so that you could put the nebula scales on one and the grey scales on the other (instead of the scales the same on the same sides) that would have been even better.

I’ve been putting it off buying this because I just purchased the bladehq exclusive shaman as well got the GP knives Rex 45 native 5 last week and waiting on my divo knives stout plus my tops sheep creek fixed blade two weeks ago. Wanted to try to continue to stop looking at this kaviso version but unfortunately I just saw your video. So now the sheepfoot MKM was just purchased! It was also because of you I have the mokuti version of the drop/kaviso QSP penguin. You’re making me go broke sir.
